Pranav's Review On Maharaja Agrasen College - [MAC], New Delhi

The main reason I opted for this college was the du tag since this building was built in 2012 the building, campus everything is much better than some south campus colleges. Mac has great infrastructure, a huge field, tt table and classrooms are not backdated this college is fully solar powered also this college has one of the best auditoria in the whole du circuit teachers are very qualified like all du colleges with helpful staff. But since it is off campus there are some obvious limitations like fest isn't great, very few alumni and if your sole purpose is eca you should definitely try for at least south campus as they are better established in that regard, there are none of that famous du election here. The main reason for choosing this college was the degree It is only offered by a few colleges it is known as mini MBA course If you have decided to join du you will have to decide. College vs degree, I chose degree, but everyone's need is different so it is upto you make this decision wisely.

I study bbe (business economics) and political science under the general elective subject Bbe is one of the amazing courses offered by du it is a mix of BCom(h) and eco(h) it is also known as mini MBA degree it is a very good course where subjects such as research methodology and database statistical procedure are there for inculcating practical knowledge. The faculty like all du colleges is well qualified but like almost every department whether school or college there are some teachers who are just really good and are really passionate about what they do and some are not like that. The ratio of faculty per student is around 40:1 which is pretty good but pls be aware there are some subjects with full maths in this course. Bbe is only offered in some 13 select du colleges. Since it was a hons course I was offered an elective subject and I took political science since this subject was created so that students opt for something different so that we can explore new subjects

This college has a training and placement cell and regular seminars by field experts in different categories take place No company especially comes for students of this college but when recruiting for whole du students of our college participate also like TCS. Regular internship opportunities are provided by the college though forget companies like Deloitte KPMG etc. But here most people opt for further studies after college like MBA or ca there are some very successful alumni of this college. But in du colleges I don't you get that many opportunities from colleges like in Pvt colleges especially in an off campus college. But what du does is makes you aware about a lot of things going around and makes you learn how to hustle

My main college, if I have to summarise, will be being part of Hindi theatre society and this college has some wonderful famous eca societies which excel in their respective fields and all have a tightly knit bond. The fest is not great here the biggest celeb we had was Jass Manak but that was before lehnga song this will case in almost every off-campus college since not a lot of sponsors come here Obviously crowd of college will not be entirely desirable but the majority of students are very decent and create a good atmosphere although these limitations are faced by all off campus colleges. The library is great to have a space for reading also and easy to borrow system for students they also e-resources were students also have access to few computers Overall it is a great campus with tt table, field, high-class auditorium, conference room with table mics attached. The campus is better than most south campus colleges.

Admission was through entrance exam named JAT(joint admission test). The ranking criteria were such where 65% marks were allocated through entrance exam score and rest was through merit-based top 4 with maths and English as compulsory.
