Course Curriculum Overview

This is nice course for getting a good practical knowledge about people management. It has lot of practical or theory class lined up as it consist of huge syllabus so a bit hectic for two years. Other than that this course is so interesting cause it not only helps to build you for corporate but also it builds your personality.

Placement Experience

Yes our college is so good for giving good placements. Lots of companies came for placement purpose. Almost every students get placement. The package lies between 3.5-12lakh per annum.Our college also provides internship to different famous companies. Stipend lies for internship in between 10k to 20k.

College Events

This college also famous for various events. Like nukkad natam where there was theme for jal dibas. There was an event name as word war where there was debate competition. Our college also had healthy crowded fest recently where anubham bassi came who is a comedian.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for PGDM is 7,20,000 all inclusive. Other than this there is no extra fee. If you want to avail hostel then you have to pay hoste fees. Definitely the fee structure is feasible compare to the placement they offer.

Hostel Facilities

No I don't stay in hostel. But still I have idea about the question cause I have friends who are staying in college hostel. It has nice accomodation. Clean and hygienic room. And the fee is around 12-13k per annum including food and accommodation. One can avail pg also there are ample pg for both genders bearby college at a cheaper rate.

Admission

I cracked MAT exam and then I got selected in the GD-PI process.

Faculty

Our college is famous for it's tremendous faculties. It cames under top three B-School in Delhi NCR when it is considered for faculties. There are many well experienced personnel from different well known colleges like IIM,NIFT who came as a guest faculty and shower their knowledge to us. The quality of the teaching is awesome. Definitely you will enjoy. Yes definitely the course is relevant cause the practical approaches, regularly shaping by faculties and their practical classes helps us to be industry ready. Our college organized many of the communication, grooming classes to make students practically approachable for the corporate.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Good opportunity in JIMS

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course....Read More

An honest review (JIMS Rohini Sec-5)

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005.
