Punjab PMET was the test taken for entrance to the college. One has to take this exam after 12 class after passing the cbse board exams.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is of one year duration, rotating type of internship, the internship is the best time of the degree according to some seniors and others. The stipend offered is around 8000 which is lesser than that offerred in government colleges here in punjab which is around 12000 INR.
Placement Experience
Doctors dont need placement opportunities but still dayanand medical college is the best college in punjab. That being said answers the need for placement and job opportunites after the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship in only offered to minority groups who are below poverty line. The scholarship is a 100 percent scholarship for those students.
Campus Life
The campus life isnt that good really, the gender ratio is female predominant , cultural diversity is there due to nri students from USA and canada mostly, sexual orientation is straight , politics is only seen in the faculty of the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The college records the contact details of all its alumni in the alumni wing. One can find all types of college seniors from nerds to party geeks. But one has to be careful in choosing whom one wants to interact with , coz they can be a bad influence to.
Exam Structure
Exams are taken after every professional year so they have 4 university xams in addition to that tests and midterms and other term examinations take place.
Faculty
The faculty is good, but as all other places there are some stubborn or sunky teachers . Some teachers are very nice though. One can expect egoistic teachers here .
