The course curriculum is vast and is spread over a period of 5 and a half years which makes mbbs one of the most rigorous courses out there. It requires a lot of hard work and constant persistence to be able to get through these five and a half years and the internship and be a successful doctor.

My internship will be a one year thing which is a part of the course. We are given rs 20k during the internship. The internship involves working for at least 10 hours a day so I th ink the pay is less for the amount of work we are required to do. The internship is a part of the course and has to be done in the same college.

We don't have any placements as such. After mbbs we can apply in any hospital private or government and work their as per our working ours and convenience. We can also open our own clinic.

We do not have many fests since. This is a a government college and funds are not available. The ones that we do have, include some good national level performers. Overall the participation is decent and the organization is decent.

The fee structure is around 12k a year, which is pretty affordable. One of the Perks of a govt college. Out of 12k, tutiion fees is around 10k and rest is hosyel fees. We are required to pay delegate examine ion fees of about rs 2000 every year to sit for the exam.

Yes, The student who come from a low sociology economic background are offered a huge scholarship. Which takes care of the fees and also gives them a little extra to spend.

Being mbbs and government we don't have many fests workshops etc. Gender Ratio is 80:20 In favour of boys. Most people in the college come from. State entrances and are therefore Bengalis. The Bengal politics is highly involved with our college with most of the students being active members of many political parties.

The seniors are good though we haven't interacted much with them Or the alumni network. The seniors do help us from time to time. With studio course material.

We have exams every month. And the main. MB exams which is absolutely necessary is held once a year Apart from. That we have semesters every six months. Days are very hectic in any mbbs course.

The faculty is decent. But being a government many teachers are not good, and don't pay enough j attention to the curriculum or the students. However most teachers do try their best to explain the concepts well and take regular classes so students can do well in the exams and become successful doctors.
