I love the course which I've taken. I love to learn computer related stuffs. Coming to exam structure, after completion of your 2nd PU you should take entrance exam called CET, JEEE etc after evaluation of both board and CET before announcing CET results they'll take 50% result of both the exams and later they'll announce results.

They'll charge extra amount for placement training they'll call experienced faculties from different institutions to train is and get placed in respective companies and also definitely they make us to get placed in any of the company.

Milan (Sanskrit for unification/coming together) is the National-Level Cultural Festival organised by the Directorate of Student Affairs of SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Milan is five day fest with a foray of events that spans extensively over a number of sporting events and multifarious music, dance and art events. Every year in addition to these events, Milan also brings to SRM some top-notch music band performances and Proshows. The 2015 edition of Milan attempted to break the Guinness World Record with 100 hrs of continuous events.

If your CET ranking score is less than 1000 they're going to give free seat. If you have got more than 1000 you have to pay 94000 every year. If you've got SNQ seat you've to pay 47000. If you've got your seat by COMED-K you've to pay 1.5 lakh

If you've got more than 9.5 CGPA in semester of persuing year they're not going to take your fees. You have to apply scholarship which government has been issued schemes there you will get 24000/- No loan facility are given you have to pay your fees in odd semester only.

Lab has very good in infrastructure and with well equiped. We have national level basketball player as a physical education lecture who trains us in every sports because as he completed his Course on his teaching. If you find any interesting sports in other colleges you can participate under the guidance of PE teacher.

Alumnis are frequently called and they come willing to give technical talks on various subjects which is very helpful to us. SRMIST provides a huge platform for their upcoming engineers to communicate with their alumni. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering have got their own alumni association at department level which helps in connecting their students with their alumni. The main aim of this network is to have an interactive session about various market trends, upcoming technology and research works, provide them a pathway to reach their goals. EEE department alumni association helps in connecting EEE alumni one another and SRMIST. The department alumni association takes several outreach efforts to bring in more alumni closer to SRMIST through various social networks. Also, the association makes a database of the alumnus who may in various positions across the globe. The top positioned Alumni are invited for the talk session and Alumni will recruit the final year people for his or her own company based on the placement procedures along with the test. The talk session is made interactive with quiz, question and answer based session. The venue-based alumni talk, it’s a new technique where few people will be taken to the alumni’s company or workplace and they will share their experiences. Alumni doing their Master’s and Research in abroad have rendered motivational talk and guidance to their juniors through web conferencing. EEE Alumni Association has organized several technical and motivational talks by Alumni and also coordinates Alumni meet along with SRMIST Alumni.

I wrote CET exam in that I got allotted my seat through SNQ quota, this quota will only get for 7 members in each department. If you won't get you will get regular seat of CET it's fees is more than SNQ quota.

The department is gifted with highly qualified faculty having experience in research and in industry. The teaching-learning process is monitored by a department representative for quality assurance. The faculty members of the department contribute to academia by publishing books, presenting papers in the international and national conferences, delivering guest lectures and organizing national seminars. The department has a chemical engineering association, which conducts student level technical seminar and also arranges technical lectures by eminent persons from industry. Three worthy students were sponsored to visit Japan for a 2 month training on Environmental Science and Biotechnology, organized by Hiyoshi Co. Ltd. Japan. They experienced real-time analysis and control of dioxins and harmful substances in the environment.
