Remarks

College is very good all type of facility are provided in the college I love my college washrooms are not so clean it is dirty but over all it is also good and student use it regularly over all my college is good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course zoology was holistic in approach. Right from the beginning of life to what we are now, the development in life science in a technological perspective, bio tech, Genetics development etc. There was regular seminars, yearly study tour for practical knowledge development. The course was of 3 years divided into 6 semesters. Every semester has an internal exam. & I had always been interested to do practical classes. That was never been boring or a hectic one.

Placement Experience

1.5

In my course, no placements are given. Not only in my college but also in every college in my state. But courses like BCA, BBA, Comp. sc they have been given placements in which some of my friends got selected. Though I don't remember the name of the companies.

College Events

2.5

Picnic for sure in almost every department. Welcome and farewell ceremony for students, teachers day, yoga day, republic day, Independence day, Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja, annual sports, annual function, inter-college cricket tournament, University sports meet.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure carries from course to course. In some traditional courses like zoology, chemistry, physics, etc. the fee for 1st year is around 6000 and for next 2 years around 1500 each year. Where as self-financing courses like BCA, Comp. Sc are expensive starting from 15000 per year appox.

Fees and Financial Aid

My state govt provides an e-scholarship called PRERANA, which I was unaware of and I availed that only in my final year whereas my friend got that from 1st year. Bad luck However college never provides loan facilities for traditional courses. No college do that. But for self-financing courses there might be some chances.

Campus Life

4.5

There was ample amount of facilities for sports like athletics, cricket, volleyball, badminton, bodybuilding, etc The boys always participated. Moreover, the college never ignored females for making a career in sports. The girls used to go boys' hostel to practice yoga every day. such was the environment in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There were 5-6 hostels both boys and girls. The facilities decrease with the amount of money you invest. I was staying in the cheapest hostel in the college. It's name was the stadium hostel. But my hostel food was best from others I bet it. We were free from over protection of the superintendent like in other hostels. They never interfere in personal matters. We could enjoy by our own way. That hostel life was heaven. The rims are usually 2 or 3 seated. However, there were 2 big halls which was 7-8 seated were students in the waiting list have to stay for a month or two. All other facilities are just like other hostels. But the only thing we got more than others was freedom. That too by paying less than the so-called best hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

I hardly interact with seniors, especially in academic matters. However, I won't spare any senior if the matter is about sports. When they left They passed their legacy to us, the symbol of unity. Which we had maintained. But I don't think there would be that unity when we left. Looking to my juniors.

Admission

The selection was based on a merit list. However, during admission, there was an increase in seat no. So I got admission in the spot i. e spot selection. As I had an interest in human physiology I choose zoology over any other subject.

Faculty

3

The faculties are perfectly qualified. Keeping an eye on the generation the faculties were a mixture of some young talents and some veteran experienced. They were ready to help in any matter regarding studies. Though there had been some issues related to co-curricular activities in which faculties showed interest.
