My college

Yes there are both positive and negative remarks. Positives are the staff is good, placements are good, the infrastructure is good. Negatives are like the events will not happen regularly. Not enough time for extra circular activities, campus is small and fees is a bit expensive for this.

My course is information science and engineering, its good and it is equal to computer science. My college come under vtu. The exam structure is like we have 3 internal exams and 3 assignments which carry 50 marks but at end they take AVG of 3 exams and mix it to final marks for 40 marks. And sem exam will be for 100 marks which we should pass for 35 and they will reduce it to 60.

When we talk about placements, the college is OK at bringing the companies and giving the opportunities. They also give guidelines to get through it. Many top companies also visit our college. The placement rate of students that are getting placed is increasing every year. And it is a positive one.

The technical events will be done every year by different departments. But the annual summit which we call it as kalavaibhava is help only 2 years once. Which we feel bad at that. And technical events like udykta, ugama etc will be held. Also hackathon is held which is associated to central government.

The fee structure is good compared to other colleges. Also as this is not a big college it is OK for this college. But the fees of computer science is high when we compared to other departments. but in my view the management seats of Cse department is expensive and remaining for remaining departments it is a bit more but OK.

Both the scholarship and load facilities are there. The scholarships are issued bt the government. And loan I think they are provided by hdfc Bank. They are good in that. and they college staff will help with the scholorship process and all.

The extra circular activities happen once in a while. they are very few here. Labs are good they are also maintained good. Sports is the thing which they don't give particularly time for that if you are interested you can play after college hrs or Saturday afternoon.

Yes I have opted the hostel. The hostel is good. There are 2 different types of room capacity options you can choose. Two people sharing and 4 people sharing. I have selected 2 people sharing. Facilities are OK. We have hot water issues. The mess food is boring, the keep the meal coomon.

Alumni is successful in our college. Every year students come here. But it seems it doesn't helpful for us. I am first year student and I didn't saw any type of interactions something. Senior network is good which we should maintain by ourselves.

At first I directly came to the college asked them for admission. They saw my previous cgpa and said OK. Also they said if we can qualify in comedk you can come through that. But I took direct admission.

They are good. Not everyone are excellent but they are OK. Teaching techniques of some teachers are not so good so we could feel a bit of doubtful. But some teachers are very good at this. Also there are many pg teachers and there are manu who is pursuing.
