Positives - The college is a recognized and accredited college which exercises a partial autonomy and has a very vast network of influential alumni. Since established in 1947, has a very good reputation. Negatives - Unable to get modern infrastructure and is a place full of corruption. Least amount of transparency and accountability and a very irresponsible staff.

The curriculum is strictly adhered to AICTE guidelines. Due to the autonomy of the college the syllabus and exam pattern is designed by the college itself while it is assisted by RGPV University. The college is further accredited by NBA and NAAC (A) which makes its course further genuine and desirable.

In the third semester we'll be sent for a 4 month internship to any 5 star hotel of our choice. This will help us gain experience in real life. This is a three year course and the third year is full of placements and interviews. We'll atleast have two placements by the time we graduate.

Fests like udgam, oureole, aavahan, etc happens annually at a good scale. College also has certain societes like Karwaan, acm student chapter, IEEE, etc that do some events occasionally. Our college has a good alumni base and thus they are called time and again to give regular guidance to students.

The annual fees for one year is almost one lakh excluding hostel fees. The hostel fees is 60000 rupees. For the complete three year it is almost more than three lakhs excluding hostel fees. You'll have to pay hostel fees for all the individual years.

Medhavi scholarship is given to the meritorious students. SC/ ST get a mandatory of RS 30000 by MP GOVT. Education loans are given by SBI Bank branch within the college at minimal interest rates and no collateral.

Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball grounds are within the college premises with ample accessories. Labs like high voltage DC lab, IBM smart lab, full fledged boiler, computer labs and workshops like smithy shop, fitting shop, welding shop, etc are there with a vast amount of machineries, automobile lab, etc are there for inducing practical knowledge in students.

Hostel rooms are very much affordable with a rate of 1800 annually, although they are in a very sorry state and a really bad outdated infrastructure. Serious issues like ragging still persists in the college hostels. Although, one can opt for a pg in nearby places like gokalpur and ranjhi at a reasonable rate of 2000- 2500 per month ( for food you need to enroll in a private mess which costs 1800 per month ).

A very vast alumni network ranging from co-founders, film actors, political entities, etc, since the college is very old ( created in 1947 ). Some of the renowned alumni are as follows - Ajey chowdhry ( co founder of HCL ) Sharat Saxena ( A renowned film actor) Shrad yadav ( A politician ) CB bhave (financial regulator) KS sudarshan ( former RSS chief).

Through JEE Mains, I enrolled in the date mp state counselling (dte mp) procedure I got admission in the college on the basis of merit. The college conducts it's counselling annually during the month of June - July.

Faculty of the college enjoys autonomy and are further serious to complete the syllabus before the session ends. Although they compromise with a good quality interactive teachings but they are regular and assisting in the right direction.
