BVM- An Autonomous Institute

Once you enter this college, you will have a very good experience of learning, sports, practical knowledge, softwares, attitude building, and many a lot from this college. As one can't get everything with costing less like this college.

Our course curriculum is like, it was decided by our mechanical department as our batch was the 2nd batch of autonomous institute. There are 2 midsem exams & 1 final exam & viva. Grading was relative with respect to our department. Labs are full furnished of equipments and necessary tools. Thus, it feels interesting to attend lab as they were too focussing on various softwares.

Related to placement it is similar to top 3 engineering colleges in Gujarat. That's it is good enough and at last it depends on department. There is compulsory internship program for the students which they have to complete upto end of the 6th semester. There are some companies which give stipend but I think that we should not see stipend because learning is more than earning money.

There were quite a few cultural as well as technical events. Pragyan, Techfest to name a few. Even all the hostels used to celebrate Ganesh pooja, saraswati pooja, Christmas, Diwali etc. College also provide huge support to the student to take part in these fests. So many celebrity also had visited in few of these fests.

Fee structure of our college is feasible for GIA & SFI too. Fees for GIA students is 6000 per Annum and for SFI students is 1lac 17 thousand per Annum. But comparative to other colleges it is less and too they are giving best facilities and best education to students as compared to other colleges. That's why fees are feasible and reliable.

GAA (global alumni association) of National Institute of Technology Trichy provides scholarship to meritorious and needy students. One of them is detailed below Sudeep Kandasami (25th April 1987 to 14th October 2010) was born in Thadepalligoodem, AndhraPradesh. He completed his schooling from DAV, BHEL, Ranipet with top scores excelling not only in academics but also earning a black belt in karate and representing his school in football, athletics and other sporting activities. He continued his education at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli from the summer of 2004 and earned distinction and passed out in the summer of 2008. It was here that he found his passion for electronics and continued to excel at all his ventures, be it, earning grades, winning technical competitions or teaching fellow students. Sudeep was then recruited by nVidia, the world's leading graphic processor maker and continued his pursuit of technical excellence at nVidia. He showed remarkable talent, creativity and passion at nVidia tackling challenges that were beyond the scope of freshers. Sadly the journey ended too son, much before it even started and what looked like a very promising life was over. Sudeep was part of a very close knit family. His parents and his sister now live in Bangalore. He was an integral part of his family and our heart felt condolences are always with them. We, his friends have seen the passion Sudeep had for academics and would like to use this opportunity to facilitate and aid passionate students in their aim to excel in the field of electronics. Hence we have devised this scholarship so that it may pave the way for many such students in the future. a) Name : Sudeep Kandasami Scholarship b) Scholarship: Rs 15, 000 would be payable towards 5th semester fee of a candidate, who was the topper of 3rd semester ECE department. The first annual scholarship shall be disbursed in 2013 for the ECE - 3rd semester topper of 2012. c) Process: The HOD will forward the list of eligible student(s) to RECAL Foundation to complete the disbursements in time

Extracurricular activities here in NIT trichy includes Playing sports in an organized competitive association. Participating in outdoor activities (rock climbing) informal practices (volleyball, basketball) and physical fitness training (swimming). Supporting various organizations or humanitarian causes throughout the year. Visiting and participating in activities in retirement homes. Member of yoga club Gardening

I think so, in my through college period my seniors are very much helpful. Related to their experience about subjects, lectures, labs, submissions, vivas, faculties, etc. They too share their experience for cultural events. They too provide books and other equipments required for doing practical. They guide in learning softwares, etc. Alumni- we had a great experience of alumni eg. A.M. Naik- CEO of L&T.

I take a CET entrance test after puc once I get good rank in CET I choose this college because teaching is good and my branch is very good so I choose. Then after choosing college payment through the cet circular after payment I enter the college

There are many faculties who had already completed their PhD and there are many more faculties who are pursuing PhD. Most of the faculties had done master in specified courses and had a great knowledge about it. Alongwith these they had too skill of sharing there knowledge with the students. And are kind to answer any queries.
