Remarks
The college is too good for masters but if you are research inclined than maybe leaving few faculties the other faculties are not up to marks for research work. But still if you get your research work under few faculties who are expert in their domain then definitely you will learn a lot but that process will grind you so keep that in mind.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum consists of 3 semester academic subjects and in final semester student get the choice to do internship in reputed MNC or on campus thesis under supervisor. The assignment are the best part of the semester. They will test you with every aspect. The exam over here is structured in such a way that you don't need to mug up the answers.
Placement Experience
Placement and job are the best part of the college. For computer science branch large number of companies come for recruitment. Recently in the placement season we had Google Uber Microsoft DE SHAW phonepe Flipkart media.net Goldman Sachs mathworks NetApp Amazon Cisco Tesco netscope NUTANIX SanDisk Walmart and many more. Stipend for the internship ranges from 30k to 100k per month.
College Events
a number of events. and 1 annual fest with the name amity youth fest. Good opportunities to take parr in these events as volunteers, event organisers, etc. A lot of experience can be gained through such events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is expensive. For the masters course we have to pay nearly 2.5 lakhs per semester and as a result 10+ lakhs we have to pay during our masters course. But we get stipend for Working as a TA so we can recover a bit not whole from that stipend.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have SBI student loan which provide loan to students. There are scholarship for BE students on the basis of merit. There are different scholarship criteria ranging from parents income to your academic behavior to academic CGPA
Campus Life
Lab infrastructure is very good for all the branches and we have good sport facility. Like we have carrom and table tennis in each hostel. There is sports complex where we can play different games like badminton table tennis pool table. We have gym and yoga classes too.
Alumni/Alumna
The BITS Goa campus have very strong alumni network and we have Amazing set of seniora who help us and guide us how to approach each and every subject. How to prepare for placement and many more things.
Admission
there was first an entrance exam, then a personal interview. then those who cleared that were congratulated through mail and asked to pay the fees. exam was easy just general questions and in interview they asked questions about my family background and related to my graduation.
Faculty
Some of the faculties are so sharp with their knowledge in their respective domains that we can gain as much knowledge as we can from them. All the faculties are friendly over here. you can contact and meet them anytime and they will be there to solve your queries. Just be aware of palagrism. They are very strict with that and can result in poor grading or straight zero for the assignment.
