My college life

Coming to positive, we had great experienced Prof. In our college with lot of practical knowledge, I am talking about only the people who done their PHD's. Coming to negative part, some assistant profeesors still believe in spoon feeding. They don't give right exposure to certain things. like, we have to think in the manner, what the think.

The course structure is really good as it concentrates on wide range of concepts and includes each and every topic one should expect to know until his graduation. The exam structure is as follows: C1 C2 (internals) for 10 each and C3 (finals) for 80marks and is the same for practicals also. In total, each subject will weigh 200marks both from theory and practicals part. Labs are conducted once in a week and for 3hrs. It is chilled and not that hectic.

There is our own placement cell and they guide us throughout our placements and exposes us to various opportunities in the field. Internship aren't provided at our college. But we're allowed to do elsewhere.

Department fest, Annual day, and all religious festival, these things Will be organized by NSS Team. They organise the things in an tranquiliatic way. Major success factor that we have to know is that, assistance from Student volunteers.

At first it seems to be fare, comming to my final year, I was febbergasted with the fee structure. It suddenly increased off around 10000. Initially it's feasible, but at last we figured it out that, its very very expensive.

There is only one scholarship provided to students is Government scholar. But as of now our college was not provided with any of these things. I haven't heard any university lever scholarship's, granted to my friends.

I didn't got excited with any one of my Lab/ sport activities. But these sessions are strictly done by my college faculty. These are the typical things to deal with in our college This is the place where we learnt lot of things, my favorite lab was Foss lab.

Those guys visit our college once in a blue moon. And comming to their guidence, I have seen many of my alumni, saying only their positive things, right from their fist btech, they were not sharing their negative things, as a result of this we were repeating the same things.

I got admission through the merit list and the course I opted was BSc in Math Stats and CS. I particularly chose this course as I love Math and computers and also I was planning on to do something in the Data Science field.

There are arround 13 - 12 PHD profs in our college, they have a great exposure of how to make things simpler, so that a student can under stand. These people have around 15+ years of experience. Most of them were from Network's background. So it's a good opportunity for the students to grab his / her career right from here.
