Remarks
My college is by far the best college in Lucknow that is private. It is famous for its academics and students have the capability of absorbing pressure to a greater extent than from other colleges. After IET this is the best college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has changed after my batch and I am quite happy about how things are being changed. New technologies are introduced and placements of the students are kept in mind. Python has been added as a new subject.
Placement Experience
The placements here has quantity not quality. Only a handful of students are placed at packages more than 10LPA but all of the eligible students have jobs in hand as of now. My college doesn't provide internship.
College Events
My college has Freshers event, Gantavya - the Technical fest and Abhivyakti - The cultural fest. Freshers is a competition based on branch, every branch performs singing dancing and acting set of 20 mins.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible it is 1. 20 lakhs for a year without hostel with bus without scholarship of any kind. I am a day scholar so I dont have any idea about the hostel fees. The fees is feasible for middle class family.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers MhrD scholarship. The Ministry of Human Resource Development plays a significant role in the education sector of the nation. Contributing effectively to the socio-economic development of the country, the ministry functions through its two distinctive departments namely, the Department of School Education & Literacy and the Department of Higher Education. Our college gives some other scholarship also.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are quite good around the time of the festivals of the college and the labs are also quite effective. THe gender ratio is also quite good. There are seminars from time to time There are many societies for dance, singing and drama
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted hostel. The hostel infrastructure is not bad it is adjustable. The rooms are shared by three members and there is enough room for everyone. The food is good but not great, it can improve more. In hostel also 29000 is mess bill yearly and 25000 the donation.
Alumni/Alumna
There aren't any alumni networks in the college. it depends on an individual how social is he/she with his/her seniors and how he/she creates his network. Seniors are helpful if you behave properly.
Admission
I gave UPSEE exam after 12th then in the online councilling I filled the college and the branch after getting the college I showed up with the required documents and paid the required fees and got admission.
Faculty
The faculty of srmgpc is quiet good at what they do. But they are generally lacked by the support provided by the management. They deserve a pay raise in my opinion. The faculty is quite helpful and knowledgeable.
