Remarks
The ambience in the college is very good and the students and the teachers are friendly. The classrooms are well maintained with the projector facilities. The only thing where jamia Hamdard lack is the sports feild as they do not provide equipment for sprots like table tennis, badminton.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many courses here in jamia Hamdard. Mine being Pharmacy is best of bests. Taking about exams here they take 3 minor out which avg of 2 are taken and 1 major each sem. There are total 8 sems for the duration of 4 years. The labs here are excellent as one would love to work.
Placement Experience
The placements here are not upto the mark. But most of the students get placed whether on campus or off campus. Yes, college does provide internship. I've not done any internship but they don't give stipend for the internship.
College Events
Recently we had Hamdard college fest celebrating 30 years of jamia Hamdard. College also organises JASHN E ADAB in which various gazals, qawwali, singing, dance events takes place. Many celebrities like JAWED AKHTAR, ALI FAZAL, RAJAPAL YADAV visited the campus during JASHN E ADAB fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of jamia Hamdard is expensive if compared to other government colleges but looks somewhat feasible if compared with private colleges. I studying in B. Pharm Self fiance batch pay a sum of 200000 yearly.
Fees and Financial Aid
Jamia hamdard only gives a 10% scholarship to student who have got rank 1 in the semester exams. They assist you to fill several scholarships that are brought up by the government. The help in filling the form and the details.
Campus Life
Talking about extracurricular activities several sports games are played here. Recently we had sports week in which several sports like football, vollyball, basketball, cricket, shotput, javelin, long jump, high jump, carrom, table tennis, chess etc were played. Only the cricket and the basketball team are good here.
Hostel Facilities
No, I haven't opted for hostel. Jaima hamdard does mot provide hostel for boys undergraduate students except for undergraduate students in MBBS. The rest are reserved for the students persuing MASTERS or PHD.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the alumni network is very good and the seniors are very supportive. Jamia Hamdard once in a year held a function of alumni meet. They call most of the alumni. Taking about seniors they are really hard working and helpful.
Admission
Admission in the Pharmacy course can be taken either by JEE MAINS or NEET score. There is another sponsored and NRI qouta and forigen national qouta. I got admitted through my jee mains score. There are 2 batchs one is regularl and the other self finance, people with high score are given regular batch making them pay less and people with high score on self finance batch making them pay higher amount.
Faculty
The Pharmacy faculty here in jamia Hamdard is very nice and large. Recently Pharmacy faculty of jamia Hamdard held the international conference of ethnopharmacology in which around 24 countries with 1600 delegates attended. Several other conferences are always held by jamia Hamdard.
