Entrance Preview

I had appeared for CAT and got 59.5 percentile and had choose for Bangalore to go and join AMC College.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the course of the MBA we had electives like Finance, Marketing, Human Recourses and IT. We had to select our specialization in the second year of the course.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship offered by the college. We students use to go and hunt for the internship experience. I had done my internship in Forum mall for the marketing project and no stipend was offered.

Placement Experience

In our campus only few companies came such as HDFC, Kotak and few other insurance companies for the MBA graduates. The average package offered was 3.2Lakhs p.a.

College Events

Every year we had management festivals and it use to be good as many colleges use to take part in the fest. And also we had cultural fest organised by the students and in that also many colleges use to take part and it use to be fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure was 90,000 per semester 3,60,000 for 2 years which was for the outsiders for out of Karnataka students and for Karnataka students it was around 100000 for the full course.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know there was no loans or scholarship was offered by the college. Only discounted fees was offered to the Karnataka students and also priorities.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no alumni network due to which we use to lack in our placements and also we did not get much experience also from them. I would suggest to all the students of the college to contribute for the placements in the college and have a good placement team as well.

Exam Structure

We had 4 semesters in 2 years of course and also we had internal exams before every semester. And there are days we had hectic day and also some days were chilled out. Labs as in we use computers for our practical's for making power point presentations

Faculty

The overall the faculty was very good and was very very good in understanding things when required. Our faculties always use to be interactive in the class for which it use to be interesting as well as good learning in the class.

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

The title of my review were nice i have explianed my college pros and cons by completing two years of my graduation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

AMC ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BENGALURU.

I choose AMC because of its good campus size area which is 52 acres which is big campus in bengaluru, good behaviour of teachers means friendly behaviour, also its infrastructure. I chosen amc over other colleges is because I got that much rank which i was getting this college and many more colleges. But also i chosen amc because other colleges don't have big campus area. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 12th. Admission mode is available by all the methods like- you can appear in comedk, or appear in kcet(for Karnataka people) or also you can take admission through management quota which will charge you some higher money.
