It was average

AIEEE was mandatory for admission no matter which rank you have .Now a days AVIT college has opened its gate for direct admissions.I opt for this college because I haven't not secured good rank in AIEEE and they were just taking admission on the base of anyt secured rank in AIEEE.

Yes Internship offered was good .College have Provided various programs to go through Internship. As there was an addtional process to be eligible for the Internship Program.There was no stipend to be paid by the college.

Placement cell was very active that time even though that was a recession time they have managed to place few students in reputed comapnies like TECH mahindra ,Satyam.That year placement percentage was about 2%. Not at all good even in placements. There was pre placement training like aptitude test and all but that was not so helpful because there were no more companies Interested in coming to the Campus.

There was annual Festival in the college every year on a grand scale. Celebrities from south used to be a part of the event .It was celebrated on a grand scale. College students as well as performers were outsourced from Chennai were the part of the team.Annual Fest named As "CREA"

It was Feasible around Rs52100 per year that time as compared to other colleges of the same level. There was Installment process also for the students who cant pay their fees at the same time.

Loan facility was there. Some of my friends were availing Loan facility as there was a Branch of Punjab National bank was in the premises.

The laboratories were of high standards. All kinds of latest Equipment's were Installed in the Labs of all the departments. Regular debates were arranged and seminars from the special Guest also were conducted inside auditorium every semester .Gender ratios of male to Female is 65:35. Overall atmosphere in the college campus was so pleasant and safe. As there was a proper discipline inside the campus so there was no room for politics and showing off their economic statuses.

About Alumni network members were so responsive as if you have any queries they are always ready to troubleshoot the Problem .Interaction with seniors depends on the student who want to take suggestions or guidance from the seniors. They were very helpful during the Exams.They were so helpful if we get doubts in any topics or in our practicals.

Faculties were qualified enough,ME/Mtech was the minimum Eligibility for the Faculties. Head of departments were possesing Their doctoral Degrees .The class of teaching was average,We just read books. So there was no teaching skill, no motivation and encouragement for the students. All we have to do by ourselves.
