AMITY UNIVERSITY

There is no such thing as 100% placement. If you want a job after your graduation you only have to work for it the college is not going to help in this field. Not all the teachers at this college is good.

The course curriculum is at par as per my opinion. I do think it needs to be incorporated with more of practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. We are required to write a research paper after the end of every semester which is also checked for plague. The exams are conducted at the end of semester and we also have a mid terms in the middle of semester.

The university claims to provide 100% placement but that is a facade. The real truth is that the university is not at all concerned towards getting jobs to graduate students and put their focus on getting the post graduate students job. A few companies come for internship opportunity but none are good means students won't be learning anything from those internships.

At amity a variety of events happens. First of all a number of events happen at a department level consisting of finanace summits, marketing summits, hr summits and IT summits. We also host a business conference called as INBUSH where industry profeesionals shares their knowledge with the students. At the University level we have Amity Youth Fest.

1st year - 336000, 2nd year- 351000, 3rd year - 370000. In my opinion the fees of this course is more on the expensive side. For one semester on an average the fees is 175000. Apart from this 20000 rupees is also payable at the starting of the course as admission fees.

Those who score above 93% in class 12 boards are given 100% scholarship and above 90% are given 50% scholarship and for continuing to get this they have to scure position in the merit list. Education loans facilities at nearby banks are also available at this college.

We have SANGATHAN an inter departmental sports meet where all the institution under amity university compete against each other to get the sangathan trophy. We also have a ragging free campus. There is also a mixed group of people that studies here. Many students from exchange program comes and studies at Amity University and many from here also go for Study Abroad Program.

At amity there is a choice between two AC hostel and Non AC Hostel. The capacity of both the hostels are far less than the students who need hostels. That is why many of the students live in PG near college only. At an average you will get a sharing bed in a pg without AC in 5000 rupees and with AC in around 8000 rupees.

I have a very good relationship with my seniors as it is a ragging free campus so people gel up nicely. I am personally guided by my senior for my Job hunt after graduation and many of my peety problems.

I chose BBA(International Business) because I always had a liking towards business and how one country does business with another. I gave a written exam as well as an interview before getting selected for this course. The test was easy and the interview process was also not that bad.

I would say that most of the faculty gere is quite nice. A few of the teachers have industry experience which helps them in teaching us the real thing as to what the industry requires. Other than that rest of the teachers are like that of school only where teacher used to dictate from book and make us write.
