overall remark is good in terms of college crowd and faculties but average in terms of placements/ scholarships and internship.
Entrance Preview
UTPU Rank 11000, referred by school senior. Its good for the average student and majority of college crowd is good when compared with other colleges of Greater Noida.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was as per the standards of uptu only. Minor exams are not that well managed in terms of timings and facilities. The college is also the exam centre of UPTU which is a good help as college faculty is supportive.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship program in my course. The semester break training has to be arranged itself but apart from that college has arranged paid trainings of robotics /java /interview preparation.
Placement Experience
Placement and Job opportunities were average. Although i was the lucky one and got placed in early semester, but overall there was average placement. It was 50-60% in 2011.
College Events
Pehal, a yearly celebration in college as a college fest arranged by college students and with the help of faculties. There are many quizzes and activities go round the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is quite expensive in comparison to other colleges. Specially hostel fee was quite high and with only average facilities. One semester fee was 70, 000 for 1 semester at that time.
Fees and Financial Aid
College is approved with many named banks and the college bank account is in Bank of Marashtra, which is easy for students to fasten the loan process. There's also ATM of bank of Maharashtra in college campus.I also took loan from BOB.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Most of the crowd of college is from Delhi/NCR.There are many competitions/ activities round the year to keep yourself busy, college also provides semester breaks training activities.Overall rating is 7.5/10.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities 6/10Mess Facilities 6/10College canteen was very very good but opens only during the college timings.Rating 9/10 for college canteen.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no Alumni Network as of now but we are trying to build one soon.Accurate Alumnus group was created in 2011 but not active as of now, although most of the passed out students visits college whenever possible as most of the alumnus are working im Delhi NCR.
Exam Structure
4 years and 8 semesters structure, each after six months.5 exams in each semester. Apart from that 2 minor exams of each subject in each semester.
Faculty
Computer science faculty was one of the best faculties in Greater Noida college. Most of them were hired from Galgotias which is itself had a good name and top rank college of UPTU. Faculties were supportive and helps students out of the way.
