The quality of teaching imparted in this Institute is high quality. Timely publication of research and is a hub of research opportunities. The food available in the canteen is also cheap. However, the physical infrastructure of this University is sometimes lacking and the washrooms are also seldom not clean.

The exam structure consists of 4 semesters totaling 900 marks. Compulsory French/German with 50 marks. Each paper with 2 internals and 30 marks of end sem exam. Total - 1) 4 papers in 1st Year 1st sem 2) 5 papers in 1st Year 2nd sem 3) 4 papers in 2nd Year 1st sem 4) 5 papers including compulsory French/German in 2nd Year 2nd sem The pattern of examination was such that the students were able to cope with the pressure. However, the only drawback of this syllabus is Research Methodology is not included in the syllabus.

Our College only assist us in getting placements. But our Department does not provide Internship facilities. Our college also has a placement agency of its own. For the Engineering section placements reach as high as 100% in some departments. However, in Arts Faculty placements are low and opportunities for on campus placements may be very limited.

The fest of our college is named Sanskriti and it is a well renowned fest in Kolkata with all the big colleges in Kolkatar taking part in this fest. During the Fest Guest performances are also held. The Engineering Departments, The Science Departments and the Arts Departments hold the fest on different dates. Also JU Womens Conclave, JUMUN(Model United Nations) JU Annual Sports are some of the important programmes organised by our college.

Government Engineering College, Bharuch is a government college, so fee structure is feasible and fee is very less and annual fees GEC Bharuch is around three thousand Indian rupees and which is very low compared to private colleges in Gujarat.

Scholarship facilities were offered by our college to schedule cast and schedule tribe and OBC. No scholarship for non reserved categories and loan facility is not needed because fees are very less and they are providing concession pass to travel through railways to everyone who wants to travel through railways.

A number of UGC funded workshops along with Lecture series and other academic events are hosted by our Department at regular intervals. Annual Sports is organised by the University. Along with that the Union organizes Annual Cricket, football, badminton and other such tournaments. Mixed Gender Sports is also organized in our College.

In hostals for 1 year 50000 is fees good hostel rooms good bathrooms good facilities are provided by college food and accommodation is included in this its an good package we are getting good foods non veg no problem for food healthy food

Yes, people are really helpful in JU. The Alumni Association is really strong in JU. They have their own set up. Our Department also has its own alumni setup. The seniors are also equally helpful in JU and they make you feel at home always.

After 12th science, I've applied in ACPC to get admission in any college in Gujarat and in ACPC they provide all Gujarat rank of mine and through my rank, i'd filled choices of college and i got admission in mock round in GEC Bharuch and in actual round i got GEC Bharuch college and i got admission in this college.

All the faculty members including the new joiners are the real asset of this Department. The senior faculty members of our Department are renowned throughout India for their Research work and publications.
