My Review

My college gives a lot of opportunities to come in the front of world and show his/her talent. Course curriculum is better than the NIT's. Average Placement is increasing year by year and overall I could say that as the years are going by it is becoming better and better.

It awesome, the lap facilities were wondering one after i enter the department. The syllabus were made by Pondicherry University. This college is afflicated to Pondicherry University while i am joined. But now its become a deammed University.i a semester if the conduct internal exam 1, 2 and 3. Then their will a pre model exam then a model exam after then only the main semester exam will come so it will become very easier to clear and got through with good marks with excellent grades.

Placements are good. Average package for a year is around 9 lac rupees. Yes the college does provide internship but it is extremely difficult to get one for an average student. I asked my seniors regarding this and they had opinions that are mentioned above.

1. Cultural Fest 2. Technical Fest 3. Intra-IIIT sports competition Cultural fest is where our college's music, dance and dramatics club combine to celebrate. Techincal fest is still a new fad here. Nothing can be said about it as it is not experienced much. Intra-IIIT is where almost every student of the college takes part in one or the other sports event

The fee structure of our college is mentioned on the website of our college. Annual fees in our college is around 3 lac which is subjected to increase after each year. With respect to the facilities that are given here I and all of my friends studying here feels that the fees is very high and it should be more affordable to us.

The centac which i known will, because i was went through to this college via centac only. For every year their will be a certain amount will given to the students who went through centac. But in that the student has to clear all the exam without any arrears.

We have 4 labs every week which are of 2-3 hrs per lab. In these we gain the practical use of whatever we learn in the classes. No politics is allowed here. Sports are organised every years for 3 days and we are given opportunities to participate in inter IIIT's and other colleges events. Flairfiesta is the cultural event which is held here in which students take part in large numbers.

hostel is very clean well maintained and properly sanitized bathrooms are in very good condition that are cleaned everyday the hall is clean twice everyday message is cleaned every week thoroughly and the rooms are well maintained and well cleaned by the hostel itself everything is taking good care of and the food is prepared in the hostel itself in the match which is of good quality.

Seniors are very helpful. No sort of ragging or torturing juniors is allowed in my college. They are supportive. even they take classes of different Topics such as Web Development and Android Development, Machine Learning etc. every weekend. Whenever any junior call they are always ready to help us.

I was selected through centac which was conducted by Pondicherry University, through merit list students were called to select their interest college and theri group. I was wondering that sri manakula Vinayagar engineering college has vacancy in civil engineering so i select that stream.

Every faculty has done PHD in his/her desired field. As of me few teachers are very good and some are not good. Many of the teachers are young and are not as experienced as we may feel. In the end we have to study on our own and work very hard if we wish to gain some practical knowledge. their are very few core teachers who have been teaching for the past few years in IIIT. Some of them have to teachers have to teach the subject which they themselves gone for first time in their lives. Every year guest faculty comes to teach us any subject.
