Entrance Preview
You don't have to write any entrance exams to qualify for this college. All you need is a decent cut off in your 12th. During 2010 I needed 187 cutoff to be qualified for the instrumentation branch in this college. Then it started fluctuating.
Placement Experience
Placements take place with a lot of pomp n show. But most of them are basically bpo, where you can get placed just walking to their office and promising them you are okay with night shifts. At times bigger companies turn up, like CTS and Tech Mahindra. It's purely based on your luck. All the best.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and good compared to lot other colleges, if you enter in Govt quota. You may have to spend around 80k for fees and accommodation for a year. And a 10-15 k more for your pocket expenses like photocopies, mini treats, outside meals, snacks n stuff.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are always available from the government based on the community. You can freely avail them, just by applying for it the correct time. But the general scholarship is a small amount for a year like 4200 for obc. You can avail the first graduate of the family scheme by the government. Loans are upto the individual student. If he avails the loan there are options that the management will accept the DD from the bank and refund you the excess amount by the end of the year.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network is vast but I feel there is not much interlinks between various batches. The best part is alumni meet is conducted in Chennai and Banglore that helps old friends meet up again, leaving the organizing headache to the college management.
Faculty
The faculties are eventually, everyone a type. Most of them refer to the notes they have prepared earlier, or those of students who have passed the earlier year or directly read out from a local authors book. Some really prepare for the class and teach you making the class worthy to be listened to. Also some staffs make the hard core diffict subject like DSP easy and simple.
