Remarks
It is overall a good college to be at although not the best. There are students from everywhere that makes it feel not so great for the others. And there are also students from outside India. It's located in the town.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is the semester pattern followed by most of the engineering colleges in India. There are periodical Continuous Assessment Tests held within the college to secure the 50% of internal marks and rest of the marks are scored through the end semester examination
Placement Experience
Software branches have good opportunities in getting placed but not civil and mechanical. Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, TLC etc mass recruiters come. Average package is about 3-4 lakhs in the college.
College Events
There are a lot of cultural fest, fests conducted by almost every department in the college for eg. Aakar(civil), techkshetra(EI), etc. Kannada kalarava is a regional fest, maitri is a intra college fest and Sanskruthi is the main fest of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
SC/ST students need to pay college fee, they just have to pay the CET fee. 41145- for those through CET Management fee costs around 200000 The fee is feasible when compared to many other colleges in and around Bangalore.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships available from the government to a the students who are expected to under the given criterias. Scholarship is roughly around 21000 annually for any student who has applied for it.
Campus Life
The sports complex is not too big. There's a cricket ground in which football is also played, a basketball ground, single badminton place, table tennis and carrom. Sports complex is really too small. College doesn't really support sports to a greater extent but is okayish.
Alumni/Alumna
I know less of seniors here who are passed out, their responses are okayish. Seniors are pretty helpful in academics and also lets us know what to be doing in prior so that we don't mess up everything in the end.
Admission
The admission process is the common 12th Grade counseling held through the Anna University of Chennai. Usually students with above 90 percentile cutoff get to secure a seat at REC. Other than the academic quota there is also a Management Level allotments of seats for sports.
Faculty
The faculty member are really good at their respective fields. But not all, a few are not having sufficient knowledge and are reckless. Senior faculties are the most found and are bunch of a knowledge to be frank.
