Remarks

A lot can be improved but people are too careless to do that. There has been much fund influx from government and rusa but nothing has been seen developing through those funds. The promise to do many things but do nothing. Only if faculties would care to do more then only e university may develop.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Engineering is my course. It is good. coming to exam structure there are 3 cia examinations and a semester exam. The cia exam is for 50 marks. out of 3 cias, best of 2 are considered and they calculate for 20 each and 10 marks for assignment. All together 50 and the final exam is for 100 and they calculate to 50 combining they give grade for 100 marks.

Placement Experience

There are good placement opportunities in SASTRA. Around 80 percent of students are placed in the college. Placements will start in 7th semester and continue till end of 8th semester. Companies with high packages will come in 7th semester.

College Events

There are mainly 3 college festivals. They are Colloseum(sports fest), Daksh(technical fest) and Kuruksastra(cultural fest). There are more intra college fests like ictas, icube, protocol, shakshma, feura amd more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is feasible in SASTRA. For each semester they collect around 65, 000 for college. For hostel, it is based on the room facilities like single, double, four and attached bathroom and more like hostel and for food, it is around 3500 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you have good marks in 12 th you will get 10, 000 for first 3 years and 20, 000 for 4the year. In college we have a Bank called cub they will provide loans for college fee and for all the fee. If we have good cgpa college will also provide.

Alumni and senior students are in touch with us and so helpful. If you go to any company in India you can find attractive one student from SASTRA and they help us when we placed there. Always help us in placements also

Admission

I selected through CGPET, I liked the college infra, environment. And through councelling I got the seat in Rungta College. First I fought CGPET, Than went for DVC, than go for councelling. It's very easy.

Faculty

There are good faculty in college. Everyone will help us in doing projects and for placement also. All are well educated and must have PhD scholarship. Mostly they use board and projector for classes.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
