College is directly managed by state government officials. It is the kind request of everyone to update the college curriculum in more competitive manner and it should be made model college for tamil Nadu.

Curriculum need to be updated. It is the first and oldest engineering college in tamil Nadu. Research is nil compared to central government institutions. Almost all faculties are either doctorate or pursuing post doctoral studies. Students to faculty ratio is much better here.

The fees will be very less as it is decided by state government. The main motto of this college is to impart technical knowledge to the students from remote and poorest family. Fees may be expensive for NRI and foreign students as many foreigners visit this college for research activities.

As most of the students studying here might have secured top 50 ranks in state entrance exam, banks and NGOs gives financial assistance easily based on students past performance and mark.

Yes, the hostel is very hygiene and food is excellent and cheaper compared to Cost of living in Chennai. Everyone can see deers, peacock, etc in early morning near hostel. it is an unimaginable sight in Chennai city.

Very good. Most of the alumni are occupying highest positions in society. They do gathering annually and provide their supports to the needy students whenever required. Their contribution to the development of the college infrastructure is immense and appreciable.

I got first rank in state wise entrance exam DEET 2019. Since I was unable to attend the counseling on that day, I sent my mother to attend the counseling on behalf of me. She was given the admission letter by Vice Chancellor of the university. Securing admission in this college is purely based on merit.

Faculties are very senior and they are not readily available inside college campus. But they are very practical and they teach us depending upon students understanding level. PhD students in this college do teach some classes and they are far better than some faculties.
