Remarks
There are pros and cons in every college so here also everyone is going to face both. The first and foremost positive thing about this college that you'll be paying very less fee as compared to other colleges because it is a government based college. Teaching and education is well and good. Everything is good except the infrastructure and placement scenarios which is under developing condition right now.
Course Curriculum Overview
The all the facilities in the college are good.they conduct three internal assessment.for the qualification of the main University exam.the lab are too good so that they give us an good environment.the lab facilities are also an good mark of the college.
Placement Experience
Placement Cell provides assistance for the overall development of our student’s personality and thus makes them ready for placement activities. the department organizes on and off campus as well as pooled campus recruitments and pre-placement training programmes through aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews and presentation skills. the training programs offered enables students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and select the strategies for improvement. besides, we extend intensive support for their career development The best of the companies today are looking for candidates who possess not only the technical knowledge but also communication skills. The Placement Cell ensures that the students of SSET imbibe the right attitudes to make them invaluable in a corporate environment. it is geared up to ensure the most opportune placement for all the students who have cleared all courses, have good marks, are active in extra-curricular activities and have attended personality development and aptitude training programmes.
College Events
There are a lot of technical and cultural fests celebrated at this place. There are lots of clubs here. i. e Leo club, Arts club, Photographic club, Gandhi rachnatmak samiti, model club, painting wing, sports club, etc. Each of them have their own sets of events to be conducted whole throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a government based college so one can imagine the fee would be less as compared to other private colleges. One could not believe that he/she can complete their 4 years course by paying less than 3 lakhs. If a student belongs to a nearby place and does not stay in the hostel(day-scholar) then his/her hostel fee and mess fee will be excluded.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college commes under Jharkhand Government and the Jharkhand Government provides scholarship named as e-kalyan for the under privileged students of the college. The e-kalyan scholarship can be filled online. The students need to have certain documents with them along with Bonafide certificate.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extracurricular activities held in this college. One will experience all these after joining this college. Eco club helds marathon every year for both boys and girls. SPARDHA is held by sports club in which everyone can take part according to their wish. It is an athletic event which is held every year around February.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are always helpful at this place. You'll find many seniors helping you with your studies and also in every field. There are a lot of alumnus coming to our college every now and then for their motivational talks and to inspire us. Alumni network is well and good and is maintained till date. There are few of them working in NASA, ISRO and many more multi national companies.
Admission
The admission criteria is through JEE Mains. All the students must qualify in JEE mains inorder to take admission into this college. Before 2019 the intake was also through JCECE exam. There will be an online process for counseling.
Faculty
Faculties are friendly and they are always ready to help us in our course. There are some of the highly qualified profeesors and we also have some b. tech and m. tech students who have completed their courses. For each and every subject you'll get two or more faculty.
