My college

There is no major negative point to be said. I would only recommend to improve faculty status as all the staffs are not excellent. Training can be promoted for them regarding practical studies and students-friendly environment.

As far as Mathematics department as concerned, It was very strict and regular. As portions would get piled up at the end not many will even try to go out of zone. Syllabus is as complex as expected. Labs and practical classes will be there regularly which gives more exposure how mathematics is used practically in the world. There would be regular class tests apart from the Internal assessments, Models and semester. Students interested in attending workshops, quiz, exhibitions to expose their talents will be encouraged simultaneously.

Placement classes is not compulsory. Whoever is interested can join. Good Placement trainings were given for affordable cost. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cts, Tcs, etc. have recruited the students of our college in cities like Coimbatore, Chennai, etc.

Common college functions will be majorly the College Annual Day, the Sports day, The Talent show, Women's day Celebration, etc. Apart from these many department functions will be held. For example in Mathematics department we had Math expo(exhibition), Celebration of Birthday of Ramanujam, etc.

The fees is not at all expensive. Most of the rural women in and around Erode are studying here which implies the confidence and the affordability of the Parents. Normally college fees will be charged (vary for different courses) and adding on to it charges will be applied for transport (if using the college bus), each semester and any add on courses if enrolled.

I don't know any specifically. But I remember the announcements made about the scholarship for minority community students. And in the aided stream meritorious students are selected and they are charged very less even for their fees.

The college is exclusively for girls which itself is a great thing for women empowerment. The athletes and the sports oriented students are given enough encouragement, training and opportunities to play in district/state/national level competitions. The lab classes are effective and cultural activities like dancing, singing, miming, acting are also given enough chances for the students to identify their talents and expose them.

Alumini function was held on our graduation day where many senior members shared their experience and their knowledge. Staffs organised the details of the alumini very effectively and successfully held the function.

I got admission for Mathematics based on the total marks obtained in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The admission process is not so complex. Firstly we hav to fill the application form and then after the publication of results we can go to the college to do further admission procedures for which the staffs will guide. I chose Mathematics out of my own interest without any external reasons.

Qualification of the faculty is over all good. Major subjects handled by the senior staffs were good. There were few new staffs who were not up to the mark (exceptional) but in my batch We made the teachers work on them by making suggestions in the department.
