Nice college with great infrastructure. nice ambience. great maintenance of lawns and parks in the college. Nice canteens. need to improve the standard for education and faculty. reduction of fee will be great.

I chose Computer science engineering beacuse it is the present trending course and also for the future. the exams are manageable each semester will have 3 mids out of which the best 2 will be considered leaving us choice according to our intrest.

Yes the placements are good those who were elisible(with out backlogs) majority of them will get placed. around 150 companies visit during the campus placements. mass recruiters like tcs, Accenture will take about 600 people which will help majority of students get placed. the college also provide internship for some.

Gitam is very well known for the fests and events during the even semester there will be fest or an event on every week. some of them like Ieee niravana, Gem fest, Kalakruti carnival etc. thousands of students will participate in that and many celebrity too will take partin them.

I joined gitam for Rs 2, 25, 000 per year and for me the fee will remain constant for all the four years. there will be no extra fees. Each year on an average about 25, 000 will be increased for the next newly joined batches. It is a bit expensive comparative to other colleges. if you want to live in a hostel it will be extra 1. 5 lac to 2 lacs per annum.

Scholarships are provided but they are mere 10, 000 per year which is a no brainier for that hefty fees. But the banks will provide laons for education. in the college itself there are 3 banks which provide loans for students.

Gitam is very wrll known for its extracurricular activities the labs are good and have nice play grounds for cricket, football, tennis courts, aqua games, gyms etc. the gender ratio is close to 2:1 between boys and girls respectively. there are many cultural societies like IEEE, CSI, IITE, etc

The hostel facilities are very good. the quality of the food is hygiene and tastes good. there are ac rooms also available. there are not any limited seats there are about 5-6 hostels onlys for boys and 2 hostels for girls and security is utmost importance for them.

Not very great but recently its been improving. recently they have arranged a meetup for alumni for the last 40 years which is a great success. but there is a definite scope for improvement. some of our seniors will help us though.

Gitam is the best University in Andhra Pradesh with excellent placement record which made me choose it. I got admmision by writing GAT(Gitam entrance test). After writing the exam results will be announced and counselling will be done according to the rank merit.

The faculty were ok not completely excellent. For qualifications everyone have master degrees from reputed colleges and majority of them have done their Phd and published many articles some of them even written books which are published.
