Our college is one of the best college in our district. May be the best college to say. Education system is better for higher studies. The campus is good and students don't get bored there also a park in our college. So we had fun in our time didn't feel bored in three years of time.
Course Curriculum Overview
best curriculum in the india. exams are held on each semester in which we have two mid semester exam and one end semester exam. marks distribution is not equal for every subject like for basics of civil engineering we have internal exam of 30 marks and end term exam of 45 marks.
Placement Experience
No I didn't think so. In my time there was nothing like internship programs were done in the college. In our college there is no direct job courses. Basically the three years degree course. The bachelor of arts, science and commerce are available to learn in our college. Students have to find job themselves. activities were done like environment friendly programs, social health awareness programs, cultural programs too.
College Events
At first we have college week then Independence day and Republic day is celebrated in our college. And Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Freshman social are also included. In college week students take part in sports, cultural events and most importantly cultural rally is taken throughout the Tangla town under supervision of college staffs, Teachers and student union.
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee is lesser in all over india in b. tech I gave only 16000 per annum which includes all things like exam fee library fee and all other expenses. Last year this fee was only 10000 rupees which is cheapest college in india for b. tech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarship facility is good. Every year students get scholarship and the students get scholarship on their bank accounts. But also many students don't get scholarship due to official failures. Office staffs are not supportive to students. I'm also an unlucky student that in three years I didn't get a single rupee from the scholarship facility. I don't know what is happening in the college office and Gauhati University didn't pay much attention to those things.
Campus Life
labs are industries based. we have many labs like chemistry lab, physics lab, workshop, foundary lab, pattern fitting lab, cad lab, engineering machanics lab, communication skills lab, welding lab, machinary shop etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are willing to come to the college in college week and working hrs. They tend to motivate the students and provide good speeches regarding social, education system, life etc. There are many successful ex students in that area graduated from the college and they are the examples for fresh students. So that they need few words about success and life.
Admission
firstly we have to give jee mains conducted by national testing agency. then in march we have to fill the form available on jamia website. www. jmicoe. com. after that they will start their counselling process in which they release list of the selected student then they release same 7-8 list after that they release waiting list and after that final selection list
Faculty
faculty are highly qualified all the teacher are phd and highly experienced. one of my teacher who is head of faculty of applied science and humanity who teaches us mathematics have 30 years of experience.
