My college review-RVR and JC College of Engineering

I have been satisfied with the college with their management.

Our college is afflicted to Acharaya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. Our college is monitored by that University. And our college was an autonomous college. And we achieved a NACC-A grade as well. All our examinations were held in our college itself and evaluated by our college only. Our college has a record in placements and all the students will be aware of the industrial visit in the first year itself.

Most of the top companies visit our college every year. Nearly 50 companies visit our college and 90% students will be placed by the end of the fourth year from our branch.

The Annual cultural fest is celebrated along with various religious pujas that are celebrated throughout the state of West Bengal. But there are many problems regarding the funding of any such events as the college administration.

Andhra Bank is available in our college. All the fee payments are done at that bank through the form of challan. Each student will have a fee of Rs 108000/- (excluded some branches). And Rs 2000/- should be paid as the semester exam fee per year to the University.

As our college consists of Andhra Bank loans will be provided by the bank. The student should provide the details of the present college and marks list of the previous classes. And the loan is given on the basis of a student loan.

As we all know the gender ratio in some branches like mechanical is will not balance all the time and in the departments like CSE and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY the girl's ratio will be higher. Our college provides good infrastructure and labs. And sports are also conducted by the college effectively. And there is no gender and caste discrimination in our college, all will be treated equally. And ragging is fully prohibited in our college also.

No, I didn't opt for the hostel as it was a bit messy considering unhygienic washrooms along with dirty rooms help me make my mind of staying out of the hostel. Issued in PG throughout my college years for which I paid 1500appx. On a monthly basis which included fooding and electricity bills along with that of water.

Since ragging is prohibited in India strictly. From then on all the seniors are engaging with the juniors very well. And they will share their experiences with the faculty and other things. They really take care of us. The atmosphere of the college makes the students awesome.

I have joined this college in the year 2018. I got addmission to the management sector. As it was the top College in Andhra Pradesh I decided to join here. To get addmission to this college one should have a good rank in the AP EAMCET, i.e, and the students who got below 10000 ranks will get the scholarship from the government.

I didn't remember the exact number of lectures I attended during the course but roughly it's somewhere between 300-400 throughout Engineering life. Most of the teachers were appointed casual basis and aged between 30-50 and most of them had M.E or M.Tech except the permanent faculties among whom many were either pursuing Ph.D. or had one. But still, the quality of teaching in this college needs to improve as they don't pay much heed to clarify out queries on any problem whole heartedly and end up doing half-hearted futile attempts. Also, they made no such attempts to prepare us for the industry.
