Food technology in Tnau

Full of strict engaing college for food technology. There is a lack of machines in workshops. There will be no placements afforded by the college. Only we have to make up our placements.

Food technology is generally a 4 year course. It is a professional course. It will be of semesters in a year. It will be around 9 to 10 courses per semester. To get pass the mark will be 60. Total 100 out of that mid semester consist of 20 marks and practical is of 40 marks and Final theory is of 40 marks. Industrial vist will be too rare in first year. From second year it will get on to it. It doesnt makes us professional and we've been only surving there to get out of it.

There us no placements for ug and pg for any degree in Tnau. Only we have to search our interships and get stick into that. The college and management doesn't interfere in that.

Food fest is the only event held in our college in a year. It accomodates poster and paper presentation where students will be taking a seminar about their topic. There will be an open quiz competition about food technology. When it comes to cultural Sangamithra is the event conducted in a year where people were allowed to express their talents in both academically and culturally.

For Food technology they are offering 56, 560 in a odd semester and 52, 520 in a even semester only for academics. For hostel and mess fees it wil be around 5000 per month. It is quite expensive ehen compared to others. We have to buy our books and peactical manuals by our own.

Scholarship will be provided once ina year. The scholarship amount will be provide according to their caste. It will be directly credited to your bank acount. The average amount will be 10000 for all caste more or less.

Gender ratios is of 1:3 girls and boys. Most it will be of girls in all department and few of boys. All of them will be treated with equal importance and there is no gender difference in our college. The campus life is too strict onlu our academics will be concentrated apart from our knowledge they will be believing in our marks. There is no complaints about sexual abuse and political status.

Not proper standard of hostels. The hostels will be changed every year gor every people. Not proper maintenance of toilets and food is quiet good when compared to others. Tv will be provided in a common hall and wifi also provided.

We'll not be in contact with our seniors. There wil no chance of speaking with them with our schedule and the college management also not make any chamce to get on to it. We have been isolated from our seniors in our hostel too. They also didnt bring any alumni meet untill now.

I got admission through anna university counselling. based on your higher secondary marks, admission will be happen every year. First we need to apply for counselling that will happen at anna university and based on your score, college will be selected

Around 16 lectures in theory and practical if it is an 1+1 couse. One credit hr contains 16 lectures. Mostly we have 2+1 credit hrs that is 34 lectures in theory and 16 lectures in practical in all the courses. The lectureres handing our courses have done doctrate in their degrees. They hasn't any industry experience and certifications.
