Remarks

If you are a student who wants to just study and get a job after college it's the best fit for you.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very tough here. Every week you have to give almost 4-5 assessments. It can be good because most of the time they take a maximum of them for final markings. But these assessments will be tough if you will not study regularly. So if you are coming here then be prepared for a tough fight. If you are interested in research then you should land in the robotics department they are doing great.

Placement Experience

5

The Placement is very good here. Once you have landed here you don't have to worry about the placement. Every year around 30% of students get internship offers from leading tech companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart e.t.c

College Events

4

IIITA has something for everyone either you are a gamer or a dancer. Our annual cultural fest is Effervescence which is the largest festival in North India. Every year Effervescence witnesses around 25000 footfalls. Effervescence happens in October. Our technical fest is Aproksha which happens in March. Hack in the North, Humble fool cup, and code red are the main events of Aproksha. Apart from these, we celebrate Asmita (sports fest) and E -Summit in February.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very expensive for a middle-class student. You have to pay tuition every semester which is around 82000 rs apart from the tuition fees you have to pay other fees like health, gymkhana, and transport which adds up to around 3000 rs. You have to pay 12000 rs for the mess and 5000 rs for the hostal room.

Fees and Financial Aid

You are sc /st student then the college provides a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees but other charges are the same. Also, you can avail yourself of several state government scholarships for your home state.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is good but the problem is everyone knows each other since it's a very small college because there are only two branches in our college. The gender ratio is screwed, it's 14/100 in every class. sports facilities are satisfactory. We celebrate our sports festival in February. The technical fest has every kind of tech competition, especially coding contests.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are very good and maintained properly. Hostels have good network facilities. Cleaning may be an issue for you but come on it's a hostel. When the opting room you should check the room if the wi-fi network is strong or not in that room.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is very good. Every year colleges organize alumni meet either in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Admission

Entrance test Jee main conducted by NTA in the First week of April. It's conducted two times a year first time in January and the second time in April. Jee main is conducted in online mode only. It covers the physics, chemistry, and mathematics of higher secondary levels.

Faculty

3

Obviously, some faculties are lazy while some are very professional and do their work with responsibility. But most of the time you have to study yourself because classes are very boring. Faculties like Rahul Kala motivate you to work and teach you the latest stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
