The college is good but the developing phase is taking very long time and the work going in the campus is also very slow.Students should have transparency of funds.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is very well planned and it does not create a immediate burden on the student to do many things at a time.for this course structure I will say it is relevant.Yes,it is obviously helping us in becoming a better professional because it is working on the basis things that we need to succeed in our professional life and also teaching us advanced technologies.
Placement Experience
The placement of IIIT lucknow is pretty good.last year the average package was 18.42 LPA.the highest package was 48 LPA. 100% students were placed.the companies which were there to recruit students wre mostly consultancy companies.othere companies were also there like core it,analytics,travel network etc.yes, the institute does take necessary steps to help students prepare for placements season by providing them extra classes, organising dummy interview session etc.
College Events
Our college is in developing phase, so,there are not much events celebrated in the college.but untill now there are some events which are organised in our college.Some days back the annual techfest of iiit lucknow 'EQUINOX' was held. Before that we celebrated 26 January in which cultural programs were held and a mini marathon was organised.before that we had 'GET SET FOSS' a github sponsored event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of iiit lucknow is a bit expensive.college accept only online mode of payment.No there are no extra charges to take the admission in the college,they are all mentioned in the brochure.No,the college does not provide transparency in the funds to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not provide any scholarship.I'am taking the benefit of the state scholarship provided by madhya pradesh government which return the annual fee of the students except mess fee.the criteria to apply for the same is that your AIR must be below 50000 and you must have 12 class percentage greater than 85% in CBSE board.
Campus Life
The campus life in this college is not that much diverse because the campus is shifted to Lucknow this year only and it is in the developing phase.the gender ratio shoes a very much gap.Workshops are regular in this college, some are taken by seniors and some by faculties and guest lecturers.cultural society also do a great work in this college despite having limited resources.The politics in this college is very little the the faculty does not support any kind of politics in the college.The economic status of the college is good and we are developing in every aspect.
Hostel Facilities
Yes,I have opted for the hostel.the hostel are in good condition, because the hostel is prepared this year only. One room is shared by 3 students and there are 2 washrooms on each floor.The hostel fee for one semester is 4800.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are just amazing in this college.They help their juniors in all possible ways and are very supportive.They take classes, workshops and guide us in right direction.
Admission
I got into this college by josaa counseling.I gave my JEE MAINS exam and on the basis of that exam I got this IIIT.It was a 7 round counseling and two special rounds were also there.I did not apply for special round.I join the college on 18 September.
Faculty
To say about teachers they are more advanced. Our whole class is connected through google classroom. We are thought with technologies. All our staffs are more experienced and are more caring. They feed us with knowledge more practically
