Common Proficiency Test OR CPT is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy course, conducted twice a year in June and December for registered students of Common Proficiency Course (CPC). The syllabus consists of four subjects, ’ i. e. Mercantile Laws, Accounting, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude with an objective to test basic knowledge in these subject areas of the candidates. CPT test is for 200 marks which are divided into two sessions of two hrs each with a break in between. This ICAi CPT exam is an objective type test with negative marking. CPT will be for 400 marks, with two theories and two objective type papers. CA IPCC will have eight subjects. Ethics and Communication part is removed from Law Paper. Financial Management is moved to the second group carrying 100 marks.

There are companies like wipro, infosys, impelsis, brevera technologies mangalore and other companies visit our campus and every year almost 80 percent students got placed in at least one of those companies

Equally there is one scholarship called karnataka epass which is given to all those students who have applied

There are around 900 to 1000 students in our college and very good campus with all facilities which are required for all the students and all the events and functions held are very enjoyable every year. Every year more number of students are joining our college

Hostel fees is around rupees 60000 and it includes both staying and mess fees and the rooms of hostel are fabulous and each room has three members staying facility and bathroom are separate and has no attach bathroom or toilet facility.

Alumni meet are held once in a year and every year by getting together all the previous year students

The students with the commerce or science or arts background can get the admission in CA course. Students should have the knowledge of the computer as the all account work done with the help of a computer. After the completion of 12th standard, students can take the admission in the CA programme through the CPT (Common Proficiency Test). Interested students can register for the test after passing their 10th examination, though they are supposed to appear for the test after 12th. Students, those pass their graduation with commerce stream, they are required to pass their 12th exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks

There are around 12 faculty members of our electronics and communication department they all are having qualifications of BE and Mtech and head of department with PhD qualification.all faculty having very good knowledge of all the subject and topics and they have ability to teach any topic
