Inderprastha Engineering College, overall review for B.Tech CSE

Concluding the review i would say that, overall the college was fine, as it is in Delhi NCR you'll surely have a good exposure, if you keep yourself away from bad influence you will also have a good personality development. If you are dedicated and committed to your betterment you will get enough opportunities from college for a fairly good career start and a good personality.

Course for CSE is very interesting and logical, i find it fairly easy if you are having a logical mindset. In UPTU colleges,IPEC it is not research oriented you have dig down yourself if you want to research on any domain, college and faculty members are not very helpful about it.

No. Of Companies visited for CSE and IT was good, But all of them were offering roughly around 3-4 LPA, The placement process was quite simple, 1 or 2 written tests comprising of Aptitude, English and Technical questions 1 GD - optional varies from company to company 1 Technical interview 1 hr interview There were no initiative from college on providing internship opportunities to students, it's only up to you. If you are capable and aware enough to get yourself an internship opportunity.

We will have a Freshers party, Founders day, Cultural fest every year. All students of different batches will mingle and combinely celebrate them. Every event will last upto minimum of three days to one week.

Average annual fee for Btech during 2013-2017 was 90,000 approx. As you know BTech is a 4 year course so total fee was around 3.6 - 4 Lakhs This includes the university tution fee, exam fee, and some other college fee parts. U will get scholarship if you get allotment through capround. As you have to score the criteria to get scholarship. If the scholarship is not alloted the the fees for a year is 86000 which is too much. I got scholarship from maha dbt which is applicable for Maharashtra.

There will be sports fest also. We will have a big ground and indoor games hall and gymnasium. About 25 games will be held. We can also play in evening times. We will have lab thrice a week. There will be no gender or religious or political differences.

No, I hadn't opted for hostel but some of my friends used to put up in hostel. The hostel was kind of ok only. No of seats in hostel was enough if you enroll for it timely. The average annual hostel fee including the mess charges were around 80,000 The mess food was also somewhere in between of good and bad.

There is an annual event of alumni meet, but that is just for name same alumni interaction at my time was not good. Only the interaction was with seniors in college. Seniors were helpful and cooperative if you get in touch with then.

I got admission through the UPSEE entrance exam, i chose B.Tech CSE because i loved computers. UPSEE takes place every year in APRIL-MAY and the admission process takes 15 days after the announcement of result. College commences from mid August Conserding the UPTU colleges, IPEC placements from other core branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical aren't good at all, only CSE and IT are the branches which can give you a average or good placement from UPTU colleges.

In IPEC, CSE branch There are around 20 faculty members, among which all have done BTech and MTech, Some of them are pursuing there PhDs some have completed it. But as per my experience very few only 3-4 of them are really qualified to be professors, others are only there to earn money they only have an idea about subject not much of in-depth knowledge is present, their approach is to just complete the syllabus and not to provide application based knowledge or to create interest of students in that subject.
