Our collegeis is among the best colleges in the entire state. It is a very reputed college which is on the same level as nits. The college management is also very good

Course curriculum is on the same level as a nit college. The university has 4 btech courses(me, ce, cs, ee) that are NBA accredited. Two exams (a minor and major) are held each semester. University also takes admission for mtech and PhD in all core engineering branches. Several research papers are published each year by the students and the professors.

The condition of placement is not that good for core branches like mechanical and civil. But for cs, it and ece the placement rate is 60-70% with an average package of 3.5-4 lakh. The condition of placement for core branches is increasing nowadays. Companies like wipro, Zara, TCS, prism cement, global logic, Infosys, niit technologies, hero motocorp etc visit the campus each year. Special seminars and training is provided to the students to prepare for placement.

We have 48 societies here, so there are a number of fests and events throughout the year. The main fests are from societies Saturnalia, Frosh, Orion. Annual fest is Saturnalia, in this we have people coming for standup comedies, music night, dance competition etc. The Annual techno fest is Orion. The inter college fest is Urja, it is a sports event offering competitions in football, cricket, basketball, etc.

The course fee is quite feasible. The program fee for each department is around 85-90k.the fee payment can be done either by net banking, demand draft or through a chalan. The facilities provided by the college compensates for the fees. The college provides 5gb of internet per week to all the student. The college also has an it resource center 6 computer labs with a capacity of 400 students which is open to students 24*7. Transportation facilities provide by tha college is also quite good.

I did not opted for any loan.the college provides scholarships to the meritorious students.also the college alumnus provide scholarships to the meritorious and needy students. The scholarship is also provided by the state government to the economically weak students. The scholarship provided by the college is about 45k. The state government scholarship is 55k. Students of sc/st category gets their annual fees fully reimbursed by the state government.

Campus life is quite fun. The university has a campus area of 400 acres. The no of female students in the college is not that much about 1 girl on 15 boys(1:15).but in the branches like ece, it and cs the gender ratio is good. Each department has its own dedicated workshops that are equipped with suitable machines. The college is going to have the second supercomputer in the entire state. The college is also diverse, we have students from many states. There are atleast 30 students from North East. The college has strict rules regarding racism and unruly behavior by any student. Students don't have any descriminatory attitude toward anyone.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. In the first year, I have been in a 3 seater room, the room was pretty good, it was freshly painted and the storage space was also good. Now, in 2nd year, I have a 2 seater accommodation. The room is small compared to my previous room but is spacious, like I got a cupboard and my bed has a box inside it. There are many hostels here, some of them are old and some are constructed in recent years. The recent ones are luxurious, they are centrally air conditioned, their washrooms are amazing and the rooms are fabulous.

The best thing about our college is our alumni. There are very helpful. They provide schlorship to needy students or any students that needs any kind of help. They also provide various internships to the students each year. most of our alumni are at higher level positions(ranging from ies, ias and ips) in the government and psu. Seniors are also very helpful. They help us not just in studies but also in our personal and professional life too.

By taking malviya entrance test that is conducted by the university. Admission is done through malviya entrance test(MET). Also admission on the basis of jee mains is also given. Admission is purely on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance exam. Admission form are available in the first week of January. The entrance exam is generally scheduled in the month April.

The faculty of the college are knowledgeable and experienced. Most of them are helpful. Each branch has atleat 23-25 teaching faculty including PhD scholars. Average age of faculty is above 40 years. Most of the professors in college have a PhD. Very few of them possess mtech only.
