About Nit Jamshedpur

Nit Jamshedpur needs to work on its infrastructure, but the placement is at its peak and can be compared to the top NITs and new IITs.

There are several facilities like CC, good equipment but sometimes it lacks in their infrastructure. But our institute is working on it, to fulfill the requirements. Our institute provides courses for B.E/B.Tech. IIIT Ranchi is also in our college. Many functions like ojass, culfest are organized in our institute, Students though take parts in it.

The placement level of our institute is very high. The placement percentage of last year is 95%, which is greater than many reputed NITs.

I am a first-year student, I entered here in 2019. In the first semester, there are a few programs first one is the association inauguration held in June last2019. It was a nice program with dance songs, drama and piano contests, etc. It was a beautiful program. The next one is the Onam celebration contacted by SFI Nirmala. Onam is the main festival of Kerala. It was such a wonderful experience in my college days. All are kept the same color of dress items and dhoties with white colors. Many programs are contacted in part of the Onam celebration. The next one is held in the second semester that a two days program called arts day. It is also a beauty contest. It was based on marks. many programs like bharathanatyam, mohiniyatam, songs, duffmuttu, kolkali all traditional programs of Kerala were conducted. In the first semester, a a3day NSS camp was created in the college. In the second semester of the Christmas holidays, a 10-day camp was conducted. In January last of2020 thug of war was conducted it is also amazing. in February last 2020 holi was celebrated. It was also fantastic.

About 3000 people are studying in our college.55%are girls and 45%are boys. three major parties are in our college. SFI, KSU, and BJP. Above this SFI is very strong in our college. In 2019-2020 batch union is taken by SFI. No their is no tolerance to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, and economic status. sports are also held in our college. Sports are held in January last 2020. Javelien throw, high jump, long jump, relay, 100m race, 200m race, 500m race, etc are practiced.

Every year many big companies like Amazon, Oyo, uber reach our institute for campus selection. Our seniors are good in the company to other colleges.

At first, I submitted an allotment in merit type online. Few days after I got a different course in Nirmala college called BTTM in the first allotment. Then due to family pressure, I entered this through management quota. At last, all allotments are over the final supplementary allotment came. Finally, I get an allotment from this.

Well educated, PhDs, All professors are very supportive and really helpful. They give their best to make students knowledgeable. One thing goes wrong in our college in the recent few years i.e, attendance criteria, which should be above 75%. Instead of that alumni network is appreciable.
