Remarks

The college is overall good. They have an amazing annual cultural fest. The test is famous in the city and has a lot of activities and the concert is quite on a large scale. Although the syllabus should be a little less hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is good and well defined. It starts with the basics of engineering in first year and then continues with the subjects in your preferred stream. There are mid semester exams which are quite chilled and the portion is less and later there are end semester exams which happen twice annually which have the entire semester syllabus.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are a little average as compared to other colleges in terms of the salary and packages but the number of companies that come are quite good.70 percent of the students have a job in their hand when they graduate. But mostly they have a minimal package. All the mass recruiters come to the college for drives like Accenture, cognizant, mindtree etc and recruit many students at once. But the product based companies are quite less and if they come they do not hire more than one or two students. No the college doesn't provide internships.

College Events

4.5

There are several technical and non technical events in the college.they conduct technical workshops on the current technologies by some experienced profeesors.the participation of students is less. The cultural events are great and are one of the best in Bangalore.the cultural fest has amazing crowd and the concert and dj night is also one of the best in Bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the students getting admission via CET is reasonable and is around 60-70k and the students getting admission via COMEDK the annual fee is around 2lac approximately.so basically it is a little expensive for the students who come from different states.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are not availed but they University provides a rebate for the minority and for the reserved seats. But you can study in the college by taking a educational loan from outside.the colleges specifically doesn't provide any scholarships based on the merit or any other criteria as far as I am aware.

Campus Life

4

The extra curricular activities in the college are quite good.the cultural activities are more as compared to the sports one.But a large amount of students participate in the intercollegiate sports meet and go from college to college to represent the college.Tha labs are really good in the college and provide almost all the facilities required. There are two auditoriums for several events also.

Alumni/Alumna

The college keeps holding seminars and workshops where the college alumni comes and shows the recent practice work experience they have and give you a short review and introduction on how to work on the current technologies in the industry to guide the current students and make them aware of the current situation in the work atmosphere.

Admission

In order to get an admission in the college, you should write an entrance exam. If you are from the kanataka you can write CET and if you are not from the state then you can write COMEDK. If you get a decent rank in the above exams, there is a counselling process and you can select the college under VTU and the branch you want.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is well qualified and there are few teachers who have industrial experience too. Therefore they are able to guide the students well and help them in the exam preparation as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
