RVCE Review

RVCE is one of the best college in the Karnataka. Pros and cons are there but it depends upon you that how you take it. The Hostel and all other things are good. The festivals and other activities happening in the RVCE are also exiting. The decipline here and the rules are very strict. Sometimes you might feel that why I am here, but it is the temparory feeling. Once you get into the college routine, that will be vanished. The Dean and principles will bece rude at some time but it is only for the goodness of the students. They are infact very nice people.

Sience I am not a 4th year student, I can't tell about the internship but from my hearings and also I have seen some posters and I have talked to my seniors, I can tell that they provide you the internship and the stipend in the mechanical department was some 12000 rs. Talking about the placements, the placements goes highest in the CS and ECE. The last time one CS sudent got some 64 LPA. And average package there is also good i. e. around some 10 to 12 LPA Talking about the other branches, The placement is fair only. In the mechanical branch it is about some 5 to 6 LPA average. Other branches have also some 3 to 4 lpa avg. package.

The events are so graceful in the RVCE. There are various Technical, Cultural, Social clubs in the college. They perform various events such as paper drive, ethnic day, flash mob, quizzes, treasure hunt and many others. But the main festival of the college is the 8th mile. It is the annual 3 days festival which is very exciting. There are lot of activities in the 8th mile such as DJ Night, Ramp walk, Songs and Party, Sports, ESports, and many more. All the clubs get united for this event. The budget of this big event is some 1 to 1. 3 crores.

For the students entering from KCCT, it is feasible. It is arount some 50000 to 65000 per year. But for the students entering from COMEDK, it is much greater than that. It is around some 200000 per year.

There are lot of extracurricular activities in the RVCE. Lots of clubs are there which arrange many activities fo the students. Some of the technical clubs like Ashwa racing and Team Helious racing arranges the racing events in the college. Talking about the workshops, there will be lot of workshops based on the technical events happens in the college. Students here come from all over the India. So we can see the various culture and languages. The ethnic day, matri bhasha divas (Mother tongue day) and maany more such events unite them. Various religions are there and everyone celebrates each festival with the RVCE. Talking about politics, There will not be any elections and so, that point is worthless. Economic status of the college is good sience it is the private college and also Thales the students from the Management Quota.

The hostel in the RVCE is good. It serves on the basis of first comes first sience limited seats are there in the hostel. The hostel fees ate around some 1. 04 Lakh per year including the 2 and 3 sharing rooms with bed cupboard and study table, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Many of the people from the hostel says that food is not good but I've tasted it and it's fine. Also, it depends on you. The main advantage of being in hostel is that it is in the campus of the college and you can wake up late. Those who are not able to get hostel, they will get PG outside. There are lot of PGs nearby. One of them is Oxford Caps which is chosen by most of the students in the RVCE. Also you can get flats nearby with 2 to 5-6 sharing. In that case, you have to pay some more and also manage the other things like electricity and water bill buy your own bed and cupboard etc. But it will give you freedom. Talking about the rentals, in the PGs the rent is depend upon the sharing. The more you share the Less you pay. For 2 sharing, the rent is some 8000-10000 per month including food according to the PG. For 3 and 4 sharing, it is from 5500 to 8000 per month.

I've got admission in the RV College of Engineering through the COMEDK exam which is for non Karnataka students. Also one from Karnara can give this exam and come through. Another way is to get the admission through KCET i. e. Karnataka state CET exam. This exam is only for karnataka students. After the exam, There will be offline councilling in which you have to select the college and the course. One can also get admission from Management Quota. There is different process for that. You to contact the administration office for that.

The each and every faculty in the college is highely qualified. They are very imtersted I teaching students and conducting various study based activities for students. Every faculty has published their international research paper. So, faculty is excellent.
