Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS got a good scope and it's a fabulous experience going through process of becoming doctor. Quite depressing at few moments but it makes you stronger. Overall it's nice and it's so satisfying at least for people who love medicine.
Placement Experience
Yes our college provides internship like all other Medical college, Stipend right now is Rs 8000 throughout whole UP. Patient inflow can be said to be quite low for a medical college this big but it's Improving year by year.
College Events
WE HAVE many programs every year, College Fest, Independence day, Republic day, Saraswati pooja, Lohri and Freshers for new comers. Participation is from everyone within the faculty and also People who work here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is according to the rules of the Gujarat Government. Government College fees is 15000 per year which is very cheap as compared to private medical colleges. Private medical colleges almost charge 6-7 lakhs per year and top of that it's good to get admission in a government based medical college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt of any loan as my college is government College. Overall I was also participating in competitive exams and was getting rewards in forms of scholarship.
Campus Life
Student gender ratio is equal as both the number of males and females students are the same. Also we have different hostels for boys and girls. Workshops were the most important thing happening to us. There was no caste discrimination, as everyone was well educated to out everything aside and get education together
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are the most helpful people in medical college. I personally had amazing group of seniors which were very helpful in passing notes and answering our questions
Admission
After standard 12, I opted for studying medicine and fortunately I got admission here. College jas hospital attached with it which is Asia's biggest hospital. The admission was based upon the 12th marks and entrance exam score and was given by Admission commission for professional courses by Gujarat government
Faculty
Faculty are well experienced and we'll qualified. All of them either have masters degrees in their specialty. However teaching method is very diverse amongst all the professors. Every faculty is making sure that proper knowledge is transferred to the students. We have head of departments, professors, assistant professors, tutors and contract based visiting faculties.
