College must focus on the facility they are providing and the price they are charging for it. As it's a state autonomous govt. college so you may guess how will be the management running. No seriousness or concerned for student everything operate according to their wish, i felt that.

Yeah,its relevnant Recently some organisation funded college for our visit to bhopal for industrial training.likewise in for all other branches also. There is CIDI lab for students interested in design and manufcturing of products and working on some projects or making it for participting in texas instrument etc. Well occupied with all machinery& system like 3d laser printer micro controller kit,testing lab etc. Curriculum is that 20th centuary old only.

Mostly IT and CS companies come for placement that too recruit from EE branch For core branches placement is like negligible thing.This year only some core companies came and recruit 1-3 candidates from the whole batch of EE IF you are FROM IT,CS placement is good Companies like deloitte, goldman sach comes for recruitment and intenship purpose.

Aayam -the annual college fest that too depend on your fate,if it gonna happen or not in that year There are some fest organized by respective departments. Club-TRIVIM: One of the best club in state colleges apart from IIT Indore, which actively organises various events which is based on Civil Engineering. ABHYUDAYA: The Institute celebrates a Fresher's evening to spot hidden talents amongst the rising stars of the first year galaxy. SURSANGAM: In this students take part enthusiastically in various activities like folks, skits, etc. A musical event comprising of Vocal & Instrumental competitions are organized by the students every year. WELCOME PARTY: The Institute has a tradition of giving a warm Welcome to all the new students joining the Institute. It is an interactive introductory session with various authorities and Faculty members of the College. DEBATE COMPETITION: An Intra College Debate Competition is held to develop oral skills in the students.

Fees is somehow more as compared to other govt.institution. SGSITS is an autonomous govt.aid institution and so it has conyearol on his administration like curriculum and fees structure. As compared to previous year fees are increased frequently with same facility provided by them.

No,i don't opt for any scholarship Yes,there is tution fee waiver scheme for economical weak students. Scholarship for minority classes And medhavi scholarship for gen.category sudent who excel in jee main with good rank Yeah there is a bank named OBC,SGSITS BRANCH which provide loan easily.

Gender ratio,male:female is 3:1 There are some nri students also each year 1or 2 come from indonesia or dubai(NRI qouta). No student union Every one is accepted.No discrimination on the basis of one's race religion,caste,economical status. At SGSITS you have clubs for almost everything. 1. I'll start with the personality development club (because I was a part of it) OJASWA. It organizes various events throughtout the year. They may include guest lectures to boost confidence amongst the students or various other competitions like weekly quizzes, treasure hunts, mystery solving cases and what not. 2. Something for all the artistic people out there : PRATIBIMB. It is basically a photography cum art club. It organizes photography competitions with themes, face painting competitions, graffiti, etc. 3. Some of you might want to start a business of their own (why engineering though bro?? If only we were crystal clear as to what we want to do :p). There's E-CELL for all such people out there. They call business big shots to interact with the students and also organize competitions wherein then participatants are put under real life business cross roads and are asked to choose a path (PS you'll be playing with real money). 4. Good news for all the literature freaks and grammar nazis- INGENIOUS. This club organizes hindi/english poetry competitions, comic strip completions, short story writing etc. It is also in charge of the yearly college magazine ( though now I think its more of a branch wise thing). 5. A collaborative club for dance, music and drama : KSHITIJ. It organizes competitions for all three fields. It also organizes band performances (after a lot of hassle *permissions*). 6. BAJA- One of the most prestigious clubs of SGSITS, it speaks for itself. 7. TPO- *self descriptive* 8. NCC You must be thinking waaaaaaiittt. where are the branch specific clubs. Well fortunately unfortunately all such clubs are no longer supported by the college. There are separate teams in each department which take care of the branch specific activites (coding for CS/IT, Robotics for Electrical etc). Also there are SRs (Sports Representatives) for each branch who handle the selection process for the inter branch competitions.

1st year hostels are recently renovated And one newly built girl hostel inaugurated And rest year boys hostel are in critical condition. SGSITS is an Autonomous Government-run college. Expectedly: No A/C rooms. No study tables. No luxurious beds/almirahs. No washing machines/shoe-polishing machines. Common water-closets. Common drinking water supply. But, it provides: Decent Mess facility. 16 hr high speed unltd. Wi-Fi. (24 hr on weekends). AND for girls hostel.since i have some contacts there? Sgsits girls hostel- Capacity more than 500 girls and these are the facilities - On the 1 st year of your BE you live in four seater room. It may be oldest building of hostel ( hostel has 3 buildings). As usual hostel life common wash rooms. But congratulations to you because now every room will have only 4 girls it was 6 my time. Old hostel has LAN facility which starts by 6 pm and works till 9 in morning.New hostel has wifi on every floor. Terrace is open for girls,one may study there.

The college also has a great Alumni network because of its long journey. Every year thers is alumini meet in the month of december, they come and donate something to college So far i have seen everything or max. thing we see aroung is actually donated by any year batch to the college. I have got admission through jee main and currently doing B.E in electrical engg. Factors i have chosen this institution- 1.Top college in mdhya praadesh state. 2.situated in the center of city,so no worry about anything all the essential commodities cn be available easily. 3. Next best college after iit,nit and,iiit in mdhya pradeh.

Talking about faculty, they are vry experienced some senior professor.in every branch.There are about 26 lectrurers in the EE department but only few that are good and can be counted on fingers If i hav to mark them out of 10 in my branch electrical that would be like this- In terms of experience-9 Qualification-7 Friendly-4 Expertise-5 Yes,some hav industry exposure.(1-3)in EE
