Reviewing my college

Please focus on teaching and follow the official system (college management system) of university other then your own.

The first year of this course is best because at that time college and university thinks about it's reputation so they do hardwork on students to get better marks. After 2 semesters everything is changed, there is no hardwork and teachers are not interested in teaching. Only rattafication is left for students to get marks, there is no practical knowledge after 2nd semester.

At my first year I used to know that the college placement is 100%. But now I realized that there are only 3-4 technical companies come to our college and all other companies are sales and marketing companies which is totally different to our field.

There is only one technical event "Tech-fest" which held in February every year. In this fest studensts are free to show there talents in specific fields like gaming, programming, quiz etc. Other then that there is annual day in which there is danceing, singing and modelling competition held.

Since the college is private so the fee of college must be higher than government college. The fee structure is different then what they show on admission. There are some extra charges which are way to high. For example "We are not supposed to go to library at the time of class and we pay for the library".

Yes, there is a scholarship program and education loan for eligible students. The scholarship program is only for the financially weak students.

Since this is engineering college so the gender ratio is about 10-15 boys: 1 girl. There were some workshop program like 1-2, to attend more such programs students have to join other colleges and organisations. There are only few selected students for extracurricular activities, there is no talent hunt. The teachers only believe in theoretical knowledge so there is very less lab or many lab classes are taken as regular classes. Other then that the literature and tech programs are good. By technical programs like robo-war, robo-race, webpage development, working model representation etc are very exciting and teach us many new things like teamwork, new ideas, leadership etc.

No, I don't have opted for hostel because since my college is 20km away from my home I needed the hostel but the hostel fee was way to high for my family to afford and the location of my college is in rural area so there is no city facilities like parks, malls, theatres etc. My college is surrounded by agricultural fields and there is no general store in about 8km area.

No senior is interested in junior and vice-versa. There is no communication median between us. There is not any interaction program with them.

I was interested in engineering. So I applied for UPSEE and JEE mains exam after 12th. I cleared both the exams but I applied for this private college in my city because my family won't allowed me to go outside the city for studies and the placement rate of this college was good.

On the basis of university level there should be 25 lecture on average for each subject. There are total 5-6 subject in every semester. The faculties of my college are well qualified but not interested in teaching. There is no expertise held by them in providing clarity about any subject. They watch the lectures on YouTube and try to apply on us but they fail and can't able to explain. Many teachers punish students for asking questions, I still got punished by less internal because I used to ask so many questions in 1st and 2nd semester, but after 2nd semester we got senior teachers who are not interested in teaching.
