My College

This is one of the best college in India and it full fill all the criteria and the quality of education provided is very good.

The education system is quite well and they prepare well of industrial life and there is a special placement sell to deal with placement related activities and to prepare students for placement. Special industrial visits are organized by college for second year students in order to get the idea of industrial life lsst year it was Pepsico.

KPMG, Deloitte, ITC,Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tata Consultancy, G Shock, ICICI Bank etc. Generally students have to fill the form of placement cell the desired students have to fulfill the criteria of the company then there is a group discussion and the personal interview the selected students will be sent for companies placement. Institution do take care of the placement as it have a special placement cell to train and look for betterment of students and placement.

Bcom 3 years the fees is around 162000 the fees have to be paid online and only the admission fees charged during admission is paid via Debit or credit card. Yes there is admission fees of 15000 to be paid during admission. Yes the college provide transparency in fee breakdown.

No I have not opted for any scholarship or loans but college do provide scholarships to students whose family income should be less than 300000 or having one parent the student should have scored 85 percent above in class 10 and 12. To get scholarship the student have to get the scholarship form from college office had to fill it and provide necessary details and the short listed list of student will be published. Generally college provide scholarships between 40 to 70 percent off in college fees

There is almost equal gender ratio in college. There are several societies operates in my college like 1 Xaviers commerce Society 2 Entrepreneurship Development cell 3 Fine Art Society 4 Sports society 5 NCC 6 NSS 7 Xaviers society of Dance and Music 8 Placement cell 9 Xaviers management Society The college is free of political influence by any party. It is having ragging free campus with equality in terms of religion, gender and caste. The college is pure place of education free from negative external forces. The College is having a special course called Foundation studies which is compulsory for all students as it teaches about every religion and generally focuses on humanism.

I live in PG the average rental is around 8000. PG must satisfy following facilities like it is near to college, must have proper hygiene, must provide food, must have a studying environment, should have proper electricity and water facilities, shouldbe well furnished. Which are necessary for a student

Seniors are helpful as they provide notes and information and they guide us wherever we need and the alumni network is very strong as they always stood with the college.

I got admission through merit. One can first apply for college form in the month of may generally it comes in the first week and the merit list will be published in month of june last time the merit list was published on 4th june. After that 3 merit lists are out and there is special seats for Ncc, Sports snd west Bengal state board students.

In my course there are 15 lecturers. The average age of lecturers would be around 50 year and qualification is having Masters degree in any desired subject. For evey subject specially expertised teachers are allotted and one can seek help from them. Many teachers are foreign scholars.
