Remarks

One of the best college in India in respect to everything.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

One of the best course curriculum and exam structure in all over India. The courses which we have are very relevant and promotes the thinking for reaserch areas. There are all type of courses which one can do does not matter of their branch like humanities, management, design, etc. The curriculum is quite sufficient for providing the industrial knowledge and it helps a lot on campus placement.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement stats are on of the best in India. Various companies come for the recruitment some of them are P&G, ITC, HUL, Dr. Reddy in our department. First of all we have to create a CV and upload it on the training and placement portal. After applying for a company they shortlist students on the basis of CV after that there are some tests which are for further shortlisting students and after that there are interviews conducted in starting of December where the students are finally placed. 70-80% students get a On campus placement. Yes, there are some workshops before the interviews so that the student get a better grasp on the interview and get a job. Same method is also followed for the internships.

College Events

5

Technical - Various workshops all around the year and a technical fest known as Tryst(India's largest technical fest) happen. Cultural - Various club activities happening all around the year and Rendezvous (Asia's largest cultural fest) Also sports events and a sports fest known as Sportech.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a government college so the fess structure is quite feasable as compared to Private colleges. Fees for my programme is around 1,20,000 and the mode of payments are E- banking and challan. Yes, in starting we have to pay a amount to secure our seat and later that is compensated in the fees. Yes full transparency is provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship is provided on the basis of the category of the student. I have not opted for the scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is awesome. There is no restriction on the timing to roam in the campus we can go out any time we want. The gender ratio is little skewed. Number of girls are quite less but the number is increasing every year. The club's we have here are best. They are quite good. We go for different competition outside College and we win them

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have opted for hostel. The rooms are quite well they are furnished and the room is sharing( 2 persons every room). The hostel seats are quite sufficient every one who opt for hostel allocated a room. The facilities are quite good. There is a good bathroom, bed, mess and other facilities are provided. There is everything for entertainment purposes also. We have pool table, carrom, all kind of indoor game, badminton court, music room, dance room, common tv area, everything

Alumni/Alumna

One of the best alumni network. There are very good alumni in every field. Seniors are very helpful. They treat us very well. Whenever we need any help they help with full sincerity. There are alumni talks conducted quite often. There we can ask them any questions about the career and they also help with our doubts. My experience was quite pleasant.

Admission

Admission in our college is on the basis of a entrance test. Firstly we had a Entrance test in April known as Jee Mains. After clearing that we have another entrance test known as Jee Advanced in end of May. On the basis of performance in the last entrance test we got our ranks. After that there is many IIT's in india so they have different ranking also different branches have different ranking. So on the basis of your rank you choose a college and a branch and after a seven round of counselling we got aour college.

Faculty

4

One of the best faculty all over India in all the department. The tentative number of lecture in a course depends on the credit of a course. If a course is of 4 credits then we have 3 lecture per week of 1 hr each and also a tutorial of 1 hr. The average age of professors is quite high indicating that they are very experienced. Most of them are graduated in one of the IITS and then further a post graduation in a foreign University. One professor take 3-4 courses and they are perfect in that. They are either researching on that particular topic or they had done their post graduation in that topic. So they teach quite well and clear every doubt we have.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
