GCET - a place to explore yourself

If you want to enjoy the lavish college life you must go for it. With decent amount of studies you can get easy placement but if you are really serious about your future and want to crack some big companies with higher packages then better not come to galgotia

The Environment of this college is quite good enough. However now a days it doesn't meet the expectations well as it is used to be earlier. Teachers here will help you a lot,they will guide you to your best.blBut in the end it will be only you who have to give it hard to get a good placement. You'll learn many things here right from making friends and involving in different clubs and learning something new. To be honest this college is far better for btech students in comparison to MCA and MBA students.

The college provides good placement only for CS & IT students. And I've heard that for rest of the branches there may not be any placements. Associated Companies like tcs, wipro, cognizant, Accenture, hcl, Infosys, Byjus etc. visits every year and recruits 80-90% students according to their capabilities. Well if you're CS IT students you may not face any sort of difficulties to get placed. You just have to score 65-70% overall and have a good knowledge in one or two programming languages to crack interview and get a good package. The average package this college offers is 3.5 lakh and for the internship you have to do it on your own. However sometimes Amazon and few other companies comes to recruit some students for internship program.

College host some of the great events which includes "Unifest"which is quite famous in the whole north region of India. Few other events includes fresher's party, music festivals and incampus events orgsnised by various clubs like literature club dance club singing club and many more. The college also organises interbranch and intercollege sports events like cricket volleyball football Table Tennis basketball.

The fee for every course including mine is 1,33,103 in first year and varies in second third and final year. (Debt in fees offfered in later years). GCET campus boys Hostel fees are 110000 (2 seater) 100000 (3 seater) and 90000(4 seater). Girls Hostel price is 140000(AC) and 115000(Non AC) Note:- Boys Hostel of college campus are non ac. The college doesn't ask additional fees for seat lock.

No I haven't opted for scholarship or any education loan but I've heard college offers various scholarships by organising competitive exams. There is also a educational loan facility availablefor students.

Campus is really good and eco friendly.gender ratio here is 60-40 (boys-girls). College offers various labs required for syllabus and for project works. Various competitions are also organized including debate,robo wars, and much more. Sports events are also organized by various departments. But my advice is you should have your prime focus on your academics.

Girls Hostel price is 140000(AC) and 115000(Non AC) Note:- Boys Hostel of college campus are non ac. Let me tell you one thing don't opt for hostel in here. The food they offer here is not good. If you can afford any pg room or any other hostel go for it. Or else you can opt for hostel. Galgotias University boys hostel is far bette than college hostel but it is in the distance of 12 km from college campus and the quality of food there is same as it is in the college.

I haven't met any seniors and alumni yet. But to be specific you have to deal with everything on your own.

Well after completing my BCA I wanted to pursue my masters to get a good job. My native place is kanpur so i wanted to opt for a college which isn't in my native place. And after research I found that Galgotias is one of the most renowned colleges in North side and quite famous for good placements. So I decided to take admission. The admission process wasn't quite tough you just have to bring all your documents to the college admission cell and bring a Demand draft in order to pay your fees or even with cash. After few formalities you are good to go. I took admission through UPSEE exam results, however you can directly be enrolled. Mostly the admission starts from June July till August.

The faculty here is up to the mark, the teachers are always there for you to help. In a day college runs 7-8 lectures depends upon your course curriculum. The faculty here is well qualified and trained to get the best out of any student. Faculty not only respond to your syllabus but also makes you learn moral values to be a good human being and helps in industry learning with learning of current technology. They often involves seminars quizzes and many more certification courses.
