College is in village locality which provides many opportunities to help poor people of the village to make them familiar with technology with the help of social club "ARPAN".

The course taught in college is very helpful for both campus placement and for research. Many students are also selected to represent their paper and poster outside of the country. Field and industrial trips are also organized to make them aware of practical problems.

The average package of the student is 9.8 lakh per annual. Students are recruit by many PSUs engaged in the oil and gas industry. Many IT companies also visited the campus. Many private companies come to hire students for internships and college also provide inter in government companies.

Campus life is very nice. Student many facilities like gym, canteen, dance and music room, conference room, tv room, each bathroom have geyser facility. Every batch has nearly 10 girls. And students are from each corner of India. Many political leaders are also invited to attend many conferences.

Yes, hostels are shared by 2 students in the 1st and 2nd year and in the 3rd and 4th-year separate room is allocated to each student. The fee is included in the semester fee that is nearly 3000 per semester. That are 5 hostel blocks they are provided with facilities like gym, tv room, conference room, dance and music room, canteen, playground and many more.

In every 3 years, Alumni meet is organized for the interaction of students with alumni. In alumni meet seniors share there experience with juniors. Many webinars are also arranged.

RGIPT gives admission on the basis of Jee Advanced rank, I got admission by securing a good rank in jee advanced. First of all, we have to qualify to jee mains and then fill the form of college after jee advanced result. Then students are selected based on there rank.

Faculty of RGIPT are studied from various foreign or Indian reputed institutes like IIT Kanpur, Kharagpur, University of Pennsylvania, etc. Every year many faculty visited for many foreign conferences. An average research paper published by faculty is nearly 20. There average age is 40-50 year old.
