Remarks

The college is among one of the bests in Guwahati for commerce.The course structure is very comprehensive and thorough which is followed by the Guwahati University also. It is a three year course and each year has two semesters after every semester there is an exam and within the semester also there are internal exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college has the best faculty. It has certain procedures and set of rules for course curriculum. It comprises of basic courses along with extra courses further required for campus placements. Engineering is semester based. Exam is assessed through 2 internals and an external exam. And Cgpa is alloted at end of each sem.

Placement Experience

In the first year of engineering the College will providing internship program for every students and for. Second third and final year also. The placement of students are based on their skills and communication and confidential information intended.

There are many events celebrated in the college 1. Freshers Social 2. College Week 3. Sports Week Are the main three celebrated over through the year.it is one of the best commerce college in Guwahati it is a prestigious institute the facilities and the faculty is very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When you get selected through CET no need to be worried about the fees because it's more than feasible. If students join college through comedk or management then the expense may be more. So for cet students it may be arround 35k for aidded and 80k for unaidded.

For poor and intelligent students there are many scholarship like tfws sheets means tution fees wellfair system in this scholarship only 5 percentage of each branch get this and the another scholarship is sumedha which provided by state government.

The hostel Infrastructure is avengers but environment of hostel is very good and hostel building s are 5 2 for girls and 3 for boys strength of each hostel is 75 and the food of hostel is not good.

The alumni network of this College spreads out in india and out of india also the alumnis are very helpful for students of my college they guide us and help in achieving our goals and placement and the seniors are also helpful and kindhearted.

Admission

I GAVE JEE MAINS EXAM AND BY THE RESULT OF JEE MAINS A CUT OFF MARKS HAS DELCARED TO ADMIT IN THIS COLLEGE. I got 75 no in jee mains and the cut off marks for admission in this College is 60 and also another factor of board percentage is acceptable.

Faculty

All the facaulty members of my college are kind very good in teaching and helpfull they took class daily and extra classes also so ll the facaulty members are very hard working and friendly nature for students.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Chose this college through REAP - Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process, because no other colleges were provinding CSE course. I got no other colleges for CSE as I have applied. But got colleges for other degrees such Engineering College Udaipur, RTU Kota, MBM. Admission process- To get into Btech program- 1. Can participate in REAP Councelling which JEE Main marks. Cut offs - approx. 90 percentile for Genral/ EWS - 75 / OBC - 73 / SC,ST - 35-50. 2. Passed 10+2 board examination with physics, Mathematics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Minimum aggregate is 45% for Genral Category. And 40-45% for other. Overall experience is transparent, no special internal test, REAP can be more efficient because of overlapping deadlines. You can have lower board marks but better Jee Marks can get you better branches....Read More

Engineering college ajmer -hit or a miss

I choose this college because it is agivt. College with A+ grades and also this is in my home town so it was convinent and cheaper for me . other colleges in option for me were jecrc,manipal but these are private with high fees . The admission process for this college is through REAP(Rajasthan engineering admission process) which is held after the jee advanved results you need to filkl options for colleges in rajasthan and you will get allocated to one of the colleges according to the choices you filled.
