Happy Days of My Life

There were no bad things to say about my college. It was great pleasure to complete my Engineering in this college.

I dint take any entrance exam to join for engineering. Mine is a management seat. And i did my 10+2 in MPC(Maths, Physics, Chemistry) as i was interested to join engineering in computer science. Initially i got seat in Mechanical engineering and in 2nd year i changed my branch from mechanical to computers as interested.

My college was affiliated to Vishwesariah Technological University called as VTU. This is the largest university in karnataka. And course curriculum was too good and this good enough to compete in the information technology industry.

Placements were good in our college. I was placed in Siemens company. But it was recession period in 2009. So Siemens company couldn't provide the joining offer for us and they cancelled the offer.

There were enough number of events in college on every year like college annual day, friendship day, Ayudha Pooja on dhussera time. And there were few more like fresher's party given to us from our seniors and we have given fresher's party to our juniors. And send off was also celebrated by us to our seniors and for us by our juniors.

Fee structure was reasonable and not much expensive. Fee structure was divided into University Fee, College library fee, exams fee, college fee and hostel fee. And hostel mess fee was separately collected by mess owners.

I dint apply for any loan and i was not applicable for scholarship as i was took seat in non karnataka and management quota.

Campus life was very much happy. And we used to involve in many extra curricular activities and i was part of all the activities and i was good in studies too and i was topper also.

Many mess vendors were changed during the period of 4 years. Almost 5 vendors were changed. And food was not as expected and there was a change in vendor very frequently due to quality and taste issues. Overall i liked one vendor who was a andhra guy and it was like andhra mess.

I have joined alumni network recently and i attended the alumni meet for 2 years. Going forward i will be attending it without miss. And i am in touch with most my lecturers.

Exam structure well designed. Exams were divided into Internals and Externals plus labs. There were 3 internal exams for each subject and average of 2 was considered for grade. Internal marks are 25 and external marks were for 100.

Most of the faculty were excellent with their technical knowledge and their experience. The way they teach us was quite interesting and i was easily able to understand and remember.
