Remarks

Moderate- Good compared to national standard. The management is fairly sincere about their work and dekivers a good support to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The couse is designed accordingly with the subjects needed to build a professional. But the way of teaching is little bit antiquated than how it should have been looking at today's corporate scenario. There are though enough activities in the department which helps bring out the best in a student. I have seen many of my friends getting out of the comfort zone doing exceptionally well.

Placement Experience

2

Yes, students are provided with internships if they ask for it but most enjoy seeking out on their own as this is the time when they get to experiment on their professional preferences. As for placement, there were 95% placements in iur batch altough most of them were for sales which not everyone was comfortable.

College Events

5

Annual fest(Hostelwise), Freshman party, Technical Fest(School of Engineering), Business Meetup(Department of Business Administration), Science Fest(School of Sciences), Literature Fest(School of Humanity), Bihu fest, Christmas party, General Farewell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible BCOM is a three year course and the fee structure is less comparatively to other courses the fee structures is Haa follows In the first year it’s 22000 to 25000 In the second year it’s 20000 to 2500 And in the last year it’s same has 2 and year And we need to pay extra for the college uniform.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, not opted. Altough those from Obc or have St Sc certificate may apply for certain scholarships which ate notified.

Campus Life

5

The campus life immense opportunity to anyone with a passion in any field. From doodle competitions to national level cultural participation, there is a huge platform for one with talent. Annually auditions are taken for drama club, dance clubs and for university fest. Those who apoear in such fest get a significant certification. The amnual tech fest invites many participants across the state to showcase their inventions in front of audience and experts exposing then to a potential entrepreneurial future.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, each student is alloted a hostel room. Hostels are best part of the university. The cleanliness and maintanence makes it one of the best places to get into for higher studies. Every now and then hostel mess conduct mess endings.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is vast and close. Regular alumni meetups are held in the department to ensure proper interaction between the current batches and the pass out batches so as for potential collaboration in future. The alumni network believes in supporting the new generation by guding them through their own experience. I have personally never been affected by any alumni network.

Admission

I cleared MAT which was then one of the exams to be cleared to enter into the MBA course. The scores of Dec and Feb MAT are taken into consideration. I filled up the MBA couse form for the university. They then publish a list of candidates who filled up the form according marks received in the examination upto a certain cutoff. It is usually 670-640. These candidates are given GD and personal interview dates. After the GD and PI, the final merit list is prepared and these students can take admission in the university.

Faculty

2

They are experienced and goes out of their way to help the students build a better personality. They take part and show keen interest in every function and show that is happening so as to boost the students' organising abilities. Every teacher has a number of students under his or ger mentorship due to which the students always feel supported and guided throughout the stay in university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.
