Sometimes there is a partiality in placements like students of amity noida get preference over other campus students.

Course curriculum is very nicely structured. You start learning from basics and slowly you climb upto the advanced concepts. From first to third semester you will have a lot of extra subjects like economics, history, mechanics, Evs, electronics etc which are not related to computer science but you have to study them. The examinations are conducted at the semester end in month of April and November, and if you study moderately it is easy to score above 75% which is good enough. Apart from this there are a lot of seminars, conferences and events organised on very frequent basis so that students can take part in them and gain extra knowledge. Also final year students are given special training before placements so that they can perform well and land their dream jobs.

Placement is excellent if we see from the view of a private University and the placement for all itt campuses is held at amity noida and there a lot of companies come everyday and sometimes two companies on a single day too. Almost every one gets a job who atleast tries to get one. Average package is 3.5 LPA and hoghest package goes upto 20-35 LPA. For pre final year students, internships are also arranged but they are given only to few students, other students have to arrange internships on their own. Mostly in internships the students join some institute to learn some computer concepts and make a project on it and present the internship report to institute after internship. Summer Internship is mandatory for all pre final year students.

The annual youth festival is called Amiphoria which is celebrated in the month of February. A lot of events and activities are organised in this. And you get a lots of tasty food to eat, obviously not for free. The annual sports meet called Sangathan is celebrated in the month of August and its finals are conducted at amity noida in the month of September. In both these events a lot of college students apart from amity too participate and each event has some great prizes also.

Fee at amity Lucknow is affordable. It is around 1 lakh per semester for engineering. For other graduate courses it is a little less. But amity noida fees is very expensive. It is around 1.5 lakh per semester. The fees for hostel and mess is a total of 1 lakh rupees per year at amity Lucknow for non ac hostel and for AC hostel it goes upto 1.5 lakh per year.

Amity University provides scholarship to students based on their 12th marks. I got 25% scholarship for 3 years. Foe first year your 12th marks will be considered for scholarship and second year onwards you have to be in top 5% of your class to continue that scholarship. Scholarship criteria is like this: above 80% in 12th you will get 25% scholarship, above 88% you will get 50% scholarship, above 92% you will get 100% scholarship. You don't have to apply for this scholarship and you get this automatically from the online automated system if you are eligible. Apart from this merit scholarship is also awarded to students who are from poor family background.

Campus life is amazing. Amity is famous for its happening campuses and Amazing crowd. Students here are from decent family backgrounds and hence the campus feels very good. Also there are equal number of boys and girls in the college. Labs are amazing and high in numbers and have all the required equipment and also up to date. A lot of competition are organised on a regular basis and winners are awarded in them also. Campus life at amity is always great and it totally betters the life of each student.

The hostel facility is decent enough. Everyday cleaning is done. One room is shared between two people and we are given a cott, an almira, attached shared washrooms and all this is good to spend your college days here. However most of students move out to outside flats of PG for accommodation after second year as outside is a little bit less expensive.

Alumni meet is organised every year of all the departments and they keep guiding the juniors so that they don't do same mistakes as the seniors and the seniors have been very friendly all the time. They help juniors a lot in academics, sports, events and other activities. Seniors are a kind of backbone for juniors in the college.

I opted engineering in computer science as it is in a very high demand and i also had interest in computers since a long time. I chose Amity University because it is a well known University and it is present at various locations in the world making it a global University and the academics as well as co curricular activities are also organised very decently. The admissions start in May and goes upto July. The first step is to fill up a form which is of around Rs.2000 then if you got above 80% in 12th then you will be directly admitted otherwise you have to clear an entrance exam which is conducted inside the campus every Sunday. Next step is to complete all the documentation and fill the fees which is around 1 lakh per semester in engineering. After that you have to report to your department and they will let you know when and where classes will be held and which batch is yours. And then you start studying. That's all. Very easy admission process.

Faculty is Amazing. They teach to the point and are always available to clear our doubts. They keep in touch with all students and ih we reach out to them they are there available. Teacher are very friendly here. They keep providing study material, important questions and assignment so that we can be in sync of the subject and understand the concepts well.
