Good College

The college is good overall and you shouldn't hesitate to opt this.

The course curriculum is very good. It is well structured and follows the gate syllabus. It is relevant and fair but not research driven. You can go for research if you want to. Many great researchers have developed from here. Yearly industrial visits are also Organized.

The placement of this college is good but not as good as IITs. If you're from computer science branch you've very high chances of getting placed. More than 50% of all the students in the college get placed. Other branched also have got a good record in placements.

There are numerous events held in the whole University. In the winter semester, almost every fortnight you'll enjoy a fest of a faculty. Our college conducts Zarf annually in the month of April. This fest is not very big but people participate with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The fee structure is one of the lowest in the country. It is about 5500 if you don't opt for a hostel and 7500 of you opt for a hostel for the whole year. Additional fees include dining fees of 1200 per month if you reside in one of the hostels. Payment is accepted through cash or card.

Yes. You can easily opt for Post Matric Means Cum Scholarship. The average sum is around 20000. You've to be a student of the University.

The campus life is very good. The gender ratio is not that good but it is something genetic that girls don't opt for engineering courses. There are people from various religions and caste. Labs are well equipped and maintained. Sports facilities are also upto the mark.

Yes I've opted for hostel. The hostel rooms are not the best but the least expensive in the country. There are different rooms available and the allotment process is done on the basis of seniority. You'll find a common room as well.

The alumni network is very good and by far one of the best I've ever seen. You'll find an alumni association in almost every country.

I got admission through entrance exam. I'm very interested in Engineering and thus I chose this. It is the best college after IITs and few top NITs. You will have to give a separate entrance exam and score around more than 50% of the total marks (i.e. 75 out of 150) to qualify.

The faculty is very good. The teachers are highly qualified except for a few. In fact one of the best in our country. There are as many as 30 lecturers in a single disciple of Engineering. Their teaching lives an impression on the students. You will not regret studying under them.
