Chinmay Tiwari's Review On Lakshmi Narain College Of Technology & Science - [LNCTS], Bhopal

Every thing is good, but the only thing is that our college environment is quite strict which is nice to have but not every time. But overall I am satisfied with my college experience in LNCT.

In 1 semester there are 2 unit test conducted which is off 20 marks and we have to submit Assignments. As semester exam we have first practical exam and the semester exam. The exam is conducted under RGPV which is a government college under which LNCT comes. The exam are great. We are able to get extream knowledge and so we are able to deliver the answer easily. Knowledge given in LNCT is perfect for Campus placement and the companies which come in our college is awsome to work in. As I am in my 2nd Semester so we didn't have any industrial visit but yes we will have some in future.

Placement is wonderful here in LNCT. Last year we have gained the highest package in Bhopal which was of 28 Lakhs offered by Amazon. And every year we College have the Highest package. We have a training and placement (T&P) department in our college which helps students to prepare for campus placement. Since I am in 1 year so I don't know the process. But I can assure that we have the best T&P department in Bhopal. Even LNCT decided to have an extra subject apart from RGPV syllabus called ESPD (Employment Skills and Personality Development) to tune our skills and make us ready for placement.

We have our College fest in every 2 year where our seniors will conduct fun and educational and sports activities. Fun activities include Dance, Music, Poetry, Singing, Cooking, eSports, Snake and Ladder, Ludo. In Sports we have Cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, NCC Training, Athletics. Educational have Quizzes, Workshop, Coding Fest etc. Large amount of population comes in our college fest from all around Bhopal. Where each activity entrance fees is 50? only. We is affordable. Our entire campus is filled with thousands of people. It's a cheerful event to participate in. And every month we have a seminar regarding technology like Deep Learning, Artificial intelligence, coding etc which gives us idea about different fields to work in.

Fee Structure is quite feasible as compare to other colleges in Bhopal(Private). We have 3 college in our Campus which are LNCT, LNCT-S, LNCT-E where the fee structure is like for LNCT it is 1.5 Lakhs per year, 1.2 Lakhs for LNCTS and 1 Lakhs per year for LNCTE which is the college fees and additional fee is there is you opt for busses and hostel. Mode of payment are through Cheque, Demand Draft, Credit/Debit Card. Additional fees are of Bus and hostel which is in our Campus. Hostel and Bus fees is not compulsory to pay if you don't want the service. There is pure transparency in the Fees-breakdown, no any kind of hidden fee is there.

Well since scholarship are available to only SC, ST and OBC and Girl, I am not a part of the scholarship program so I don't know about it.

Gender ratio is approx 20:1 which is nice. We have a rich diversity. There are many students who are from different regions, religion. We have workshop every month regarding technology for us and we are provided with the certificate on completion of the 1Day workshop. We have Dorm Parties which are under the supervision of the Hostel Dean. There is no toleration of any Alcohol, Tobacco, Smoking. And strict action are taken against if caught. Our campus is quite calm and to maintain that we have security and staff members to monitor our movement and if any fight happens, immediate actions are taken against them.

NO. I didn't opt for hostel as I live in Bhopal and the college is in Bhopal. But I have visited the hostel in our college. It's pretty nice. They have WiFi connection and Electricity supply. About sanitation, they have common toilet to use which have a water supply of 24×7. The hostel Dean is quite nice as I was told about my friend living in hostel.

We still haven't made any official contacts with alumni. But I personally know some seniors and alumni. They were great. They helped me in understanding the working and what skills we need to master. They provided their experience and tell us that which professor are or which we should maintain our distance. But overall seniors and alumni are very helpful.

After the IIT-JEE exam results comes, the admission panel opens, through M.P Online portal we fill up our 12th standard and JEE marks and we put our desired college and course. Once list comes and if we are satisfied of what we get we go to college for admission where we give our documents to the authorities. And we have to pay a certain amount for admission. Well I decided LNCT because this is the best private college in MP and since I didn't get admission in government college RGPV this was my second choice and I am very happy to get admission in LNCT.

Well most of our faculty is experienced of more than 5-6 years, some of them are PhD's holders which is great. We are easily in touch with our faculty and if we have any doubt we simply reach them and they are happy to help in case of confusion. The lectures gave us information about everything which can be used in Industry's.
